Oops, got a paper-cut from that new comic? Mickey Mouse and Floyd Gottfredson have you covered, with vintage artwork, to boot!

Gotta love the design choices - 2011 is turning out to be quite a year for Mickey Mouse comic strips! This comes in a carboard package OR a collectible tin!

AND

Here's an interesting book by John Garvin, who was fortunate enough to have studied with Carl Barks while Carl was creating his oils. John has taken those techniques, studied and explained them, then applied that knowledge using his own waterfowl characters (I remember John did some fun Barks tribute comic strips with similar characters in The Barks Collector fanzine during the 1980s). You'll recognize the names of some of the testimonials as well: Geoffrey Blum, Prof. Donald Ault and Pat Block.

My wife has a purse with a Mickey comics inspired design. I'll try and take a picture.

Thanks for posting the band-aids. I picked up a box at Walgreens today and they look great.

Speaking of plush nephews, here's an item that looks like it was offered at a Walt Disney World Epcot event in 2008:
Huey, Dewey, and Louie by Elizabeth Cooper Studios

Junior Woodchucks with merit badges, a flag and even a guidebook! WOW!! The ducks are off but still that's not something you see every day! Thank you for sharing.

Yeah, I thought that was a great idea... the oddball style is pretty cool, too!

Now, just look on dis kooky Professor Ludwig Von Drake plush doll. He can make sure you go beddy-bye with all his educational lectures, 'cause he's a whiz at Calculus, Psychology,
plain Geometry and Anthropology, he's the living end in Entomology (and at Bridge he excels)...

I own a couple of these, and they are pretty easy to find on eBay, etc. It's #65 from the 1999 "Countdown to the Millennium" series of pins that started the rapid growth (and major consumption of retail space at the theme parks.) This pin faithfully recreates the first panel of the first Mickey Mouse comic strip drawn by Ub Iwerks.

This is not comics related, but I saw these Donald Piñatas at Epcot's Mexico pavilion in Walt Disney World last weekend.

At first I thought they were funny .... but actually it's not so nice to have kids hit Donald with a stick, is it? ;)
