You can download the App with iTunes, but need an iPad to download and read the comics.
There's no possibility to read the comics on a PC or MAC at the moment.

Charlie Brown, you are from France. Is the App also available in Europe?

No, the App is only available in the US app store. I have an US and DE account for Apple.

P.S.: I'm from Germany, but work for a French company (that's why my flag changes from post to post).

The App is actually produced by Disney Italy and also available in UK's and Italy's store (as was the previous version). I guess it might also be available in some other countries which have no own Disney publisher, but I haven't checked and there's no official list yet.

Two new free stories as a Comic Con special :)

That sounds good.

There is a new update available that fixes the bugs in the app for iOS 5 users (headings etc. did not show up correctly). As always, the release notes also mention "ability to restore comics from previous app" as a "new" feature in this version... and as always, it still doesn't work. This is getting ridiculous.

It's too bad there aren't any english versions of the story.

While I'm not thrilled about the fact that the new version of the app doesn't bookmark or allow you to save stills as well as the original did, I'm glad that it's still around.
Now I just want them to start releasing more of the current stuff going on overseas like Planet T and the new upcoming Dracula, as opposed to High School Musical and Pixar. They appear to be really, really slow regarding updates...

Disney/Pixar's "Brave" has been released as a digital comic for iPad en iPhone:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/brave-interactive-comic/id529261778?mt=8

I'm curious if printed editions of the same material are also planned ?? apart from lots of extras, sounds and animation, the app contains 48 pages of comic strip, the same format as earlier film adaptations.
I'm curious as well if Disney intends to expand its own publishing activities with stuff like this. In the past, Sanoma Publishing had an exclusive licensing deal for publishing Disney comics here in the Netherlands, but this Brave comic is sold (in English) in the Dutch iTunes Store by the Disney Company itself.
