It just looks wrong.
If a female duck has breasts, then she has other female parts. A male duck has his. But Disney ducks, with very few exceptions, do not wear anything below the waist??what's wrong with that picture! The point is that cartoon sexuality to this extent is not "designed" for the world of Disney ducks, in my opinion. One could project duck sensuality without drawing human breasts and human thighs on a fowl a la these calendar girls. See Daisy, Goldie, Brigitta, Magica.
It's a matter of context. It's a matter of intent. It's a matter of degree. It's a matter of taste (even if these images are not distasteful per se). For Disney ducks these girls are portrayed in an over the top manner. I'm not being a prude, for if we were talking about human females I would have no problem whatsoever.

I don't have any problem with some moderate sexiness in duck comics. I mean, as we're all aware, the characters aren't REALLY ducks except on the most superficial level. If they actually ACTED like ducks, that would be another story (and the entire field would be utterly different), but as it is, they're people, and one aspect of people is sex. In any case, I agree with McDuck Enterprises--it's all in good fun and not to be taken particularly seriously. I don't think anyone is actually getting off on sexy ducks.

Okay, I meant "getting off" there in a slightly less figurative sense. But my point is, if the ducks are people--and they are--then I don't think there's any particularly reason why they should be self-limiting to the extent that you do.

I honestly don't see any difference in seeing a femme fatale duck than say,.....Elastigirl from the Incredibles done out to be sexy..(even though she's supposed to depict a human,)...To me, it's all the same realm of fantasy that I don't mix up with reality. I sincerely beleive disney artists make female ducks out to have curvy female human looks because that is what is some readers, or the artists themselves, relate to.

Well, it's either that or they all look like bowling pins.... :)
