I wonder if I'm the only one who wanted Brer Rabbit and Molly to get married and have some kids or there are other fans here who were also upset that he never had any kids? We all know that Brer Bear have kids (His only kid was "Junior" in the French Wolf series) and a wife named "Mrs. Bear". Brer Fox also have some kids in some newspapers stories (and a son named "Alfred" in the French Wolf series) . His wife/fiancee only appeared in a French Wolf story. A vixen named "Miss Fox" appeared in ZB 54-09-19 but I'm not sure if she is really BRF's wife in this story. Both Brer Coon and Brer Possum also have their own wifes and their own kids. The original Brer Rabbit have some kids and a wife that is not Molly in the original tales and I was thinking that his Disney counterpart should also have his own kids.
Here is a picture of the original Brer Rabbit along with his kids:
http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tatar/files/2014/10/lilrabs.gif
Well, I don't think the "BR as a father and Molly as a mother" is a bad idea because it would be interesting to see what their kids' "real" designs will look like. Sadly, their only appearance was in ZB 49-07-03 but it was only a dream.
Here is their appearance in the dream:
http://coa.inducks.org/hr.php?image=http://outducks.org/webusers/webusers/2011/01/us_zz1949h03b_001.jpg&normalsize=1
There is also a Dutch cover that was drawn by Wilma van den Bosch and featured Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear and some random bunny kids.
Here is the cover:
http://coa.inducks.org/hr.php?image=http://outducks.org/webusers/webusers/2010/04/nl_dd2010_17a_001.jpg&normalsize=1
It's unknown if these bunny kids are Brer Rabbit's nephews or Annie and Fannie because they looks a little older than those bunny kids. Maybe they could be Molly's classmates but it's unknown or maybe they're BR's kids. I want someone to ask Wilma about those bunny kids on the cover because it would be great if she answers and confirms that some of those kids are either BR's nephews or Annie and Fannie or Molly's classmates. I would be very surprised that if she confirmed that those kids are really are BR's kids. If they're BR's kids then that's their real designs and that mean that they also appeared in a cover and not just in one story. It would be great to see his kids appearing in some stories in the future like in a story where he taught his kids how to trick Brer Fox or some other Brer animals. Sadly, the Netherlands/Holland is the only country that still making new BR stories but it would be great to see Denmark publishing some new BR stories again.

I have never entertained any dreams of Disney characters having children. The reason? Probably because I don't think of any Disney characters as parents. And the reason I don't is because there are a lot of "youngsters" in Disney comics and cartoons but few of them actually live with their parents. The first two which come to mind are Roo, who lives with Kanga, and Pocahontas, whose father is a tribal chief. I'm sure there are some others. But Gilbert is Goofy's nephew and his mother was never identified. Morty and Ferdie are Mickey's nephews and their mother was never shown. Huey, Dewey and Louie are Donald's nephews and their mother is variously referred to as Dumbella, Della or Thelma, but she, too, has never been shown. Daisy Duck's neices are April, May and June and we don't know who their mother is.
An article about rabbits at QuickSpay.com says that one female rabbit and her offspring can theoretically produce more than 50,000 rabbits in three years, 69 million in five years and 64 billion in seven years. Sixty-four billion! Do we really want Br'er Rabbit and Molly reproducing? Yikes!

Well, that's true about some other Disney characters like Mickey and Donald who never had any kids and only have nephews instead. Yes, there are many youngsters in the Disney stories and most of them are nephews or nieces than sons or daughters. Of course, most of the nephews' parents were not shown. It seems that the Disney writers prefer the Disney characters to be uncles or aunts more than being mothers or fathers. In Goof Troop and some Goofy shorts, Goofy became a father and have a son named Goofy Jr./Max and he also have a wife but it's unknown what happened to her. She was never shown in any Goof Troop episodes or in the both A Goofy Movie movies but she appeared in some of the shorts.
There are other characters in non-Disney cartoons who never have any kids and have nephews/nieces instead like Woody Woodpecker and Bugs Bunny. Woody have Knothead as his nephew and Splinter as his niece. Bugs have Clyde Bunny as his nephew.
EDIT:
It's interesting to hear that real rabbits can produce more than 50, 000 rabbits but please note that Br'er Rabbit and Molly are anthropomorphic rabbits and not real rabbits. I don't think they will have so many children. There is a french series of books/comics and a TV Show called "La Famille Passiflore" and the rabbits in this series are anthropomorphic just like Brer Rabbit and Molly. The young rabbits in this series are five not one hundred, lol! The female rabbit in this series (her name is Zinnia) is not young rabbits' mother but their aunt instead. It's unknown what happened to their mother but maybe she is alive or dead.

Actually, at least some of the original tales do have Molly as Brer Rabbit's wife! Try this one:
Quote from user: Joel Chandler Harris"Which of the girls did [Brer] Rabbit marry?" asked the little boy, dubiously.
"I did hear tell an 'er name," replied [Uncle Remus], with a great affectation of interest, "but look like I done gone en fergit it on my mine. Ef I don??t disremember," he continued, "it wuz Miss Molly Cottontail, en I speck we better let it go at dat."
Moving on??
Quote from user: Thomps2525Morty and Ferdie are Mickey's nephews and their mother was never shown. Huey, Dewey and Louie are Donald's nephews and their mother is variously referred to as Dumbella, Della or Thelma, but she, too, has never been shown.
Morty and Ferdie's mom, only ever officially called "Mrs. Fieldmouse" in English, has been in a number of stories as an active character; Mickey's nephews quite plainly live with her when they're not staying with him, and it's treated as ordinary.
Della is less frequent but has been seen as well.

Yes, I heard that Molly was in some other original tales before but in some other tales, the name of Brer Rabbit's wife was Miss Rabbit instead of Molly. Maybe this "Miss Rabbit" and Molly are the same characters or two different characters. I heard from Wikipedia that Miss Fox was Brer Fox's wife in the original tales but still not sure about the Disney story where she appeared.

The hypothesis that Disney characters such as Elsa, Rapunzel, Snow White gives birth a baby are clearly shown in Disney games. You can now know how they take care of their daughters, their sons and also how they give birth their baby. Please visit http://alldisneygames.com/ to experience these things.

I'm not sure if there are any official videogames where the Princesses have their own children but I know that Ariel has Melody in The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea. Those videogames on this site are not official or made by Disney but they're some unofficial games that have Disney characters in it.

I plead innocence, not ignorance. I didn't know that Morty and Ferdie's mother ever appeared in some early 1930s Floyd Gottfredson Mickey Mouse comic strips. There have been 17 comics featuring stories of Morty and Ferdie's Riverside Rovers soccer team and a few depicted Mrs. Fieldmouse but none of them was ever published in the United States:
http://coa.inducks.org/subseries.php?c=Riverside+Rovers
Descendants, an upcoming live-action movie on the Disney Channel, will feature the children of Belle, Jafar, Mulan, Maleficent, Aurora, Rapunzel, Cruella De Vil and the evil queen from Snow White. The director is Kenny Ortega, who directed Michael Jackson videos and High School Musical.

Those five stories were published by Gemstone and I had a subscription to all the Gemstone Disney comics (2003-08) so I do have those Morty and Ferdie stories. They're in one of several dozen boxes of comics in the garage. Again, I plead innocence. I can't remember everything, and Mrs. Fieldmouse was a very minor character. Did she ever have a major role in any Disney story? The WDWFacts site refers to her as Amelia, but she was also known as Felicity...and she is the half-sister of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Nectaria will be glad to hear that. :)

It's interesting to hear that this live action movie will feature the children of Belle, Jafar, Mulan, Maleficent, Aurora, Rapunzel, Cruella De Vil and the Evil Queen from Snow White. I wonder why some of the villains have their own children on this movie? This means that Snow White is really Evil Queen's stepchild. It's not bad to see that she have an official child.

Of course, I will be glad because it's interesting to hear that she is the half-sister of Oswald. Maybe "Amelia" or "Felicity" will be her real name because her real name was never mentioned in any Gottfredson stories that she appeared.

The WDWFacts site seems to get its information from various sources. Some of them are "fanon" and not official.
"Amelia" is an Americanization of Amalia, the character's Dutch name. Embarrassingly, it may have been my own 1990s online writings that popularized "Amelia." But it's not an official English name.
Felicity was the character's first name internally at Egmont when the Riverside Rovers stories were being produced. I don't think it was ever used in a story. (Doesn't mean it can't or won't be.)
The idea that the Mice are relatives of Oswald seems to come from the Epic Mickey video game, which concocts a continuity where Mickey and Oswald are brothers because Walt Disney is their "father" and creator??as self-conscious cartoon characters who are aware of being cartoon characters.
In the comics version of Epic Mickey, Mickey mentions "my nephew Morty," which I guess means that despite Walt Disney being Mickey's dad and creating him out of ink, Mickey is still Mrs. Fieldmouse's legit biological brother??which would, rather awkwardly, make Oswald Mrs. Fieldmouse's "brother" too.
That's the only way I can possibly explain this not-so-factual "fact." (And where WDWFacts gets "half-brother," I don't know...)
In a more standard Mouseton where nobody is aware of being a cartoon character, it wouldn't make sense for Oswald to be Mickey's brother. Not unless he were to have been adopted by Mickey's (mouse) parents... and there's certainly no continuity that establishes that.

We're getting off topic---oh yeah, like we don't do that a lot!---but Walt Disney and Ubbe Iwwerks (Ub Iwerks) created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in 1927. Disney made 26 Oswald cartoons but the rights were controlled by Charles Mintz and Universal Pictures. After Walt wound up losing the character, he and Ubbe created Mickey Mouse, who was almost like Oswald, except for different ears. In 2006, the Walt Disney Company obtained the rights to Oswald in a deal that involved sending Disney/ABC/ESPN sports announcer Al Michaels to NBC Universal. Those 26 Oswald shorts have since been released on DVD. Oswald appears for about one second in the 2013 short Get A Horse and some of the Disney theme parks sell a few Oswald shirts and other items...but why isn't he starring in new cartoons? I'd love for Disney to launch a new Oswald series, whether for television or movie theaters or even direct-to-DVD.
The Internet Movie Database site has details about the Descendants movie. The plot centers around the teenaged son of "King Adam and Queen Belle" and his efforts to rehabilitate the villains' children:

Hmm... So, this means that this "Mrs. Fieldmouse is Oswald's half-sister" must be fanon and not canon, right? I know that some sites used some unofficial english names for somes characters who their stories were not published in english yet. Like what Thomps2525 said, we're off-topic.

Right.
Lots of Disney fansites include fanon derived either from
A) fans' personal interpretations of Epic Mickey and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (which effectively take place in the same continuity), or
B) "Disney's Hoozoo," an older character reference site that included quite a lot of fanon
We all might wish our personal headcanons were true, but it gets confusing and unhelpful when it's just liberally mixed into a site that otherwise features authentic historical data...
Right.
