Its two smaller black circles standing on top off a bigger black circle.
Some source of light seems to shine behind it.
It could, if one explore it massively, be a great brand!

In January WDC and MM will have 40 pages and will publish stories by Barks/Jippes, Don Rosa, Gottfredson and Scarpa! It's a good news though I'm sorry for Casty. I'm happy for the return of Barks, Jippes, Rosa and Scarpa, but I hope that in 2011 Boom will publish at least 3-4 italian old stories and at least a story by Luciano Bottaro. I think and hope they will publish "The Chirikawa Necklace", because, as David Gerstain" previously stated, is very important for Mickey e Peg-Leg Pete and because David Gerstain already translated it (that story was supposed to appear in "Disney Treasures #3", never released due to Gemstone bankrupt). I would publish also "I gamberi in salmì" because it's the first story written and drawn by Scarpa and for the debut of Gideon McDuck, Scrooge's (step?)brother. But there are dozens of Scarpa's stories worth to be published in the USA. But I'll publish also stories from other authors, such as Dr. Paperus by Chendi/Bottaro, the Carolingian Saga by Chendi/Bottaro, Bottaro's stories starring Witch Hazel, the stories starring Rebo and Reginella (a great character created by the great Rodolfo Cimino), the origins of Duck Avenger etc. Publishing these old great italian stories together with current Egmont material (Jippes, Ferioli, Van Horn etc.) and the reprints of Barks, Don Rosa and Gottfredson would be great. Bottaro and Carpi are great artists but in America are unheard; it would be great publish some of their best stories. For Boom Kids: have you ever considered to publish the stories published in "Carl Barks l'uomo dei paperi" (Tutto Disney #18, March 2001)? It contains some short italian stories which pay homage to Carl Barks! One of these stories is an italian remake of one of Barks' stories starring the Junior Woodchucks (the italian title is "Stai in guardia sul lago di Guarda" if I remember well)!

Sound good. I'm looking forward to see the BOOM 2.0 idea (or is that the same like this one?).
Anyway, WDC and MM look promising.

This is such great news! When I first saw the "Classics are back" teaser I was a bit concerned that they were now going to fill the comics with only reprints. But, after seeing the preview list on Comics Continuum, I am pleased to see a mix of old and new stories. That is exactly what I thought they needed to change. I am thrilled to see stories by Jippes, Rosa and Scarpa on the list. :D
Rare Gottfredson reprints ... a Li'l Bad Wolf story ... I wonder if David Gerstein is behind this. ;) Mickey Mouse #304 and WDC&S #715 seem to follow more of the Gemstone format, with reprints of rare stories mixed with newer ones that haven't been seen in the United States yet. I like it!
It looks like Donald Duck will continue its long Italian arcs, which makes sense, as I understand Double Duck was the most successful in this style. Uncle Scrooge #399 will have its final DuckTales story in January. I wonder what the anniversary issue #400 will have in store for us!?
I am looking forward to BOOM! 2.0.

I don't know but if they are going to stop publishing Duck Tales stories in Uncle Scrooge. They should give Duck Tales it's own comic book.

That news about the January WDC is very heartening, and it will be only the second individual Boom! issue I buy. The first, of course, was WDC700, for the Van Horn story. Oh and speaking of Van Horn (dig my mad segue skillz!), given that the comic is moving in this VERY WELCOME direction, I would be beyond disappointed if we didn't start seeing his previously-unpublished-in-English stuff in the near future.

I hope I can get the issues in Europe as well. I can't wait to see an all new WDC with classic stories.

This is great news, but I do hope they'll make room for more of Casty's stuff eventually. He really has been the best "new" thing Boom's brought to the classic title line-up.
And I'm obviously with GeoX: get the Van Horn stuff as soon as possible!

Why do I have this feeling a new comics series will be announced next month...? I had predicted that as soon as the first Ducktales/Uncle Scrooge was announced.

Yeah, I've been predicting the same thing as Steet. Especially with how closely tied to Duckburg Darkwing Duck has been so far, I'm really expecting the establishment of a Disney Afternoon-Duckverse continuity for D.W. and DuckTales (and more) to take place in. Which I believe I can dig.
At any rate, looking forward to this new announcement they're teasing, whatever exactly it may be.
