Quote from user: arthurI pre-ordered mine in August already. I would hope that they would ship out the ones they have to people who ordered it first.
I agree that you should have already recieved yours, ordering it that soon. Maybe logic isn't a factor in their shipping methods. Hopefully the new estimate is not correct and it will be much sooner.

Just recieved an e-mail from Amazon saying that the "Valentine's Classics" is in stock and is being shipped. No mention of "The Life and Times". I went to the website and it shows the Valentine book is in stock and that "The Life and Times" has not bee released. It should be the other way around because the "Valentine's Classics" is shown as scheduled to be released this coming week on Boom's site. Maybe Amazon has their stock numbers mixed up on these two books. Something is very strange.

I've received a copy of Valentine's Classics from Amazon, and know others who have as well.

I just caved and pre-ordered one last week and the shipping estimate is March 15. So, I don't think it matters when you pre-order. It ships to all when it's available.

Does anyone know if the book comes shrink-wrapped?

Yeah, I finally received my Life of Scrooge book from Amazon. I pre-ordered it exactly 8 months ago today.
It looks beautiful. I like the hard cover and it's just great to see this fabulous story back in print.
I would have liked some new articles and perhaps some artwork like covers that haven't been published here yet. And what do you think of these big close-ups on the inside front and back cover? I think it's a fun idea but don't the images look kind of pixelated? Especially that first one of Donald shaking Scrooge's hand (which is actually from the final chapter that is not in this book) and the one in the back of the money bin. I noticed this in one of the latest issues of Uncle Scrooge too, that the story pages looked like they were in a low resolution. I have never noticed this before in a Disney comic.

That's really poor quality. The shouldn't use such big pictures, if they don't have a high resolution at hand.

BTW: Amazon offers Look Inside for Vol. 2
