I'm not that far behind her. Although I have more "real" books than comic books.

Quote from user: ramapith[quote=Lars Jensen]Furienna, I really hope you don't believe Eelkat's post. She/he is either deluded, making it up
Lars, I agree 110% with your points about Dickie Duck??Eelkat is badly misinformed, and the original comics easily disprove her beliefs.
But that's not to say she's purposely trying to fool people. Isn't that a little over the top?
(Eelkat's a she, by the way... I've seen her elsewhere online.)
You're right. I stepped over the line, and I apologize to Eelkat, wherever she is.

My number one choice would be Uncle Scrooge and then Donald Duck. I also really like a Barks or Rosa story that has Gladstone Gander or the Junior Woodchucks in it. Finally, right up on the top of my list are stories with Gyro's Helper in them.
I really cherish Don Rosa's story "Gyro's First Invention." There's also a great Barks story where Helper is at Grandma's farm and he puts on armor and I believe he was fighting a duck. I need to find that story and read it again. The Helper gags just came one after another and were really funny!

That's the one! Thank you, sirredknee.
A funny thing happened today. I had purchased Gemstone's Walt Disney Comics September #636 on Ebay. I bought it because it had part II of the Three Caballeros Ride Again by Don Rosa which I was missing. (Speaking of favorite Disney characters, I also really like the Three Caballeros in both of Don Rosa's stories.) This afternoon the comic arrived, and as I was checking out what other stories were in it, I found Grandma's Present in there. Exactly what I wanted to read tonight! Patrick www.PatrickHanifin.com
