Me as well :-)

I just hope Arpin will show some more of his burglar tricks (like thouse he
shown on page 4 or 7 of "The Black Knoight") in this story. I mean this guy
can stel your underwear without you notice it. It's just super funny to
watch :-)

And ofcorse I love to see agian "THE UNIVERSAL SOLVENT" suit in action ass
well.

I recently read the June 21st issue of Publishers Weekly which had
some comic book related articles. In one of the articles it says that
there will be a "bimonthly release of a new set of Mickey Mouse
graphic novels (from its Gemstone licensee) that will begin in
September 2005". I was wondering if Gary could clarify that a bit?
If I had to guess I would think it was referring to the Take Along
format Mickey Mouse Adventures. However isn't that premiering in
September 2004 NOT 2005? Also, is it set to be a bimonthly? I
thought Gemstone said that they would see how the first issue sells
and decide from that.

One other quick thing. Several months ago the "Scoop" site at
Gemstonepub.com mentioned that soon Donald Duck Adventures would be
available at Borders, and Barnes and Noble bookstores. I have yet to
find any of them at these stores and am wondering if anyone else on
the list has seen a DDA being sold there?

I'm sure the 2005 part is a typo. I know Gary and Co. plan ahead, but I doubt
they plan 15-16 months ahead, at least not to that degree of specificity.
Hopefully the bimonthly part isn't a mistake however. :)

Who needs Disney comics at book stores when you have manga? I don't know
about you, but I can't wait to tear into Super Yugioh Pink Eyed Dragon Deluxe Card
Volume 256. ;) (I like some manga, but at the rate things are going, if the
comics industry has to be dominated by one genre, I almost find myself hoping
the superheroes continue their dominance, rather than manga. Some manga is
great, but a lot of it is terrible like anything else, but it seems like the
terrible stuff sells as much and is praised as much by the otaku as is the good).

I just loved the new Rosa-story, even if I've just read the first part
of it yet. The Black Knight is a good villain, and I'm glad that Rosa
uses him again.

Just one little detail bothered me a bit. It's the part where Scrooge
pulls the rug so that the Knights falls. I may be mistaken, but to me it
looks like he falls forward, but such a pull would result in a backwards
fall. Any comments?

I'm not sure why you see him as falling forward. Naturally, his feet being
pulled out from under him in the direction he's facing would cause him to
flip *backwards*, and that's what I show him doing. I needed for him to fall
front-first onto the floor for the action to work the way I needed it to, so
he's doing a 270 degree backflip to get him facing downwards. But how can
you tell which way he's flipping? Look at my careful (as always) detail in
the motion lines -- for example, note the extra lines below his boots which
represent blurred motion... that shows that his feet are moving in a
counter-clockwise direction. He's falling/spinning backwards.

By the way, a message also arrived with this Digest that allows me to
confirm something about which I've been asked to keep members updated: I
have now been officially invited (and have accepted) to be in Athens on
November 1 - 4, 2004, to help celebrate the 2000th issue of the Greek Disney
weekly, and also to sign copies of a new Rosa book they plan.
