The one thing I am not so happy with is that the members seem to be sorted in classes. I have never seen that in any other forum. What is good with a class society? New readers/members may think that the "invited members" (whatever that may be) is a kind of upper-class members superior to ordinary members.
I agree here, with Sigvald. People that are "only" members might feel that there is a class hierarchy here, and might be offended. A lot of other fora sort the posters into classes based on number of posts. That seems to encourage a lot of wasted, relatively useless posts, of people trying to keep their post count up. I hope we don't do that here.

I think we should only have "member", "moderator" and any other administrative title for in-houise participants (and "guest" only IF guests are allowed to post). "Contributing member" would be okay, IF regular members contribute work to the website (and they don't have a specific other title).

OK, so I'll change the moderators title to "member" by default, like the others.

All:
I made a try at changing the default titles once again:
Member -> Mouse
Moderator -> Duck
Administrator -> Goof
(but people can change their title, even put Duck instead of Mouse etc.)
Okay, well, maybe so, but I can't change the title, and the title I got is the proper number. It cannot be a coincidence.
It was surprising, but not negative.

And your try at changing the default titles either didn't work retroactive or it didn't work at all since I still see a lot of "members" in the roster. Perhaps you'l have to wait and see if any new members crop up with the new titles?
