It'd be great if they did! :)

Quote from user: WBQuote from user: LadyQuacklyDoes anyone know what became of Donald Duck?s parents?
Roast duck a l'orange at the Peking Palace. They were the 2 for one blue plate special with a side of fried noodles! :D

Seriously - I would love to see that Marco Rota duck story printed in the states at some time. Scrooge's life is nice, but not much is known of Donald's.

Awww, how sad! :( (And yet, that sounds nummy. :P )

I think not enough is known of Donald's life. But then, if the lot of us had our "druthers", we'd have an extensive biography of ALL our favorite Disney characters! :D

Quote from user: QuackbergI think I have red that she had raised 20 children in a comic somewhere, but I'm not sure.
In a strip by Taliaferro she said, she had raised 10 children with a 1$ hairbrush

That's cute! And I'll bet I know exactly how she used that 1$ hairbrush. :D

Quote from user: Robb_KMarco Rota wrote and drew a long comic book story on Donald's life for his 50th birthday in 1984, which showed that as an egg, Donald fell out of his tree nest, and was found by Uncle Scrooge and Grandma Duck, and adopted and raised by them (Grandma doing the day-to-day work of raising him, and Scrooge paying for it).

It was produced by Mondadori (Italian Disney). Here is the Dutch printing (Cover and Donald's adoption):

Almost reminds me of "Superman".

BTW-I thought of making a Rock Opera about Donald Duck.

There was also a a hardcover illustrated text children's book published in 1994 by Marcia Blitz entitled "The Life of Donald Duck" that delve into Donald's youth. I remember he had some sort of guardian angel character in that book. Interesting read. The book even came with an amusing "Fireside Chat" CD between Donald and Carl Barks

That sounds like a fun book! :) I wonder if you can find it on eBay?

Blitz's book was originally published in 1941. Applewood books republished the book in 1994 in a box including a Xmas Card from Barks and a CD featuring that "chat" between Barks and Donald(!). There are also many other editions, Harmony Books (1980's) (without the CD of course).
