Duck collectibles are so few and far between here in the U.S., that passing these up would be a crime! Seriously, when was the last time you saw any kind of Magica or Gyro or Gladstone Gander collectible over here? Exactly!
Speaking of crimes, there's a Darkwing Duck figurine available, too. He's not in the exact same style as the Dark Horse figures, but is approximately the same size and I think he'd still be handsome displayed next to them:

Unfortunately, he ain't cheap -- nearly twice what the Dark Horse figures cost!

Hmm, this one doesn't do it for me. Looks amateurish. Almost looks like a clay figure a child could make. Appears to lack structure, movement, expression??at least in the photo available. Everything looks less than right. So far, the 2nd series disappoints.

The series 1 Donald is admittedly not a very good pose in terms of being flattering, but it's structurally very well done. It has a "bone" structure holding it up and natural movement and expression. This second figure does not appear to have either. The first is a much better sculpture. The second one is a tall step down, in my opinion.

So far in series 2 we've seen photos of a Scrooge and a Donald. I haven't cared for either one that much but have liked all six figures in series 1. I can't wait to see the photo of the next figure coming out and I'm also especially curious to see what the nephews look like.

The studio probably saw there was more profit to make, as they sold out of the first series....fired all of the original master sculptors and hired first experience, under-grads from a technical art school! I would not be suprised.....

still missing the front flip up of the hat bill, but they're getting nicer in this second series....heck, I'll end up getting them all, so long as they don't start numbering into the dozens....
