Well, I've been collecting since 1965, and systematically from 1972 all kinds of comics published in Denmark, disney since 1975. Already about 1980 I had 90% of Danish Disney. I even published 1# of an underground comic called 'Andarkisten'. I have a few thousand US Marvel and DC too from 1963 and forward.
I haven't got around to reading all of them yet, some mass-produced stuff is just too uninteresting, and with a few series I've been waiting for my run to be completed, but most are read at least once.
I just last year got my collection on shelves again, it had been stowed away in banana-boxes since 1989, when I got married. And in a year or two I'll have to move it again, because my grandson (11 months old day before yesterday) is going to use the room of my library.

Quote from user: Roger NorthYou people might want to get all the back issues you can if it's possible. I just ordered the last issues of Walt Disney's Comics and Stories, and Uncle Scrooge but I haven't received them yet.
How long ago did you order them?

Here's my collection. It's a bit silly that I don't call myself a real collector, since my bookshelf is quite full for somebody who doesn't collect comics. I never have the urge to have a complete collection though, so when there's a series of albums I don't mind if I have one or two issues missing, if there aren't any stories in there that interest me. I got most of the Dutch weeklies by being subsribed since 1996. I buy everything else second hand, if it's possible. I buy my comics to read and enjoy them, so my books are definitely not in a mint condition.

Lady Quackly I ordered them last Saturday.

Sorry Henrieke. My browser won't let me see your collection.

You need the Adobe Reader plugin, Roger.

If you ordered from Amazon, expect to wait at least two weeks, unless you paid for rush delivery. If you ordered directly from the publisher, give it another week or two, then write them if it still hasn't come yet.

Super! Though it's sad they are the last issues... :(

I wouldn't be too sure Lady Quackly. At this point nothing is definite.

Tell me about it. :(

Well Gemstone did tell us that they are just on hiatus. Hopefully they will get back on schedule before too long.
