I won the first two issues of Darkwing Duck that were published by Boom Studios in the Darkwing Duck Livestream Contest Last Saturday. They should be here sometime later this month.

Here is most of my collection, except for "Back to the Klondike" which I have no idea where that went off to, and I bought four more after this picture was taken. I also have a Darkwing Duck too I believe. As you can see, these aren't ordered or anything.

I don't buy comics at comic book stores; I buy them at conventions, or any random spot I so happen to find them. Actually, all that is in the picture I bought at the same convention (not at the same vendor though.)

Quote from user: Roger NorthThat's quite a collection you have Monochrome.
Why thank you very much. I hope to add to it in the future, thus I'm looking forward to that comic convention again next year. Ha ha ha.
I didn't mention it before, but my sister has about 10 more that I have read as well.

That is interesting. Maybe you can ask her to join the Forum.

Hmm perhaps I should; unfortunately though, forums don't seem to be her thing for a couple of reasons, so she probably won't.
However, she has the more "expensive" disney comics, like the 75 anniversary treasury and two out of the three of the hard cover of the L&S Boom no longer having the license for Disney comics explains why I couldn't get the first part of it from Amazon for a reasonable price for her (I got the other two for her birthday) sadly. At least I know why now. And I have the soft cover version anyway.
I also found out by one her books that 3D Disney comics isn't as amazing of a concept as one would think they would be.

What a shame your sister won't join. Oh Well She doesn't know what she's missing. I just got the first two Darkwing Duck issues published by Boom Studios Last Friday.

Indeed. Oh well, though.
They are still publishing the Darkwing Duck issues? I though Boom was done with all Disney comics by now. Well, I am now nearby a comic book store now so I can check it out (it's pretty much across the street of my university). I bought my first comic book store issues of what I'm guess is left over Uncle Scrooge last week and new comics are cheaper then what I thought they would be, either that they had them on discount.

I have recently expanded my US Disney Comics collection with 14 comics to 85. These are Walt Disney's Comics and Stories 524, 528, 547, 580, 600, Uncle Scrooge 235, Donald Duck 261, 283, 286, Donald Duck Adventures (Gladstone) 5, Donald Duck Adventures (Disney Comics) 1, 22, 34 and 37. Why these? Well, since I collecting first-print Barks is a bit above my level, I collect first-print Don Rosa. In these comics you'll find Recalled Wreck, Oolated Luck, Making the Grade, The Curse of Nostrildamus, From Duckburg to Lillehammer, The Duck Who Never Was, Rocket Reverie, The Money Pit, Master Landscapist, Super Snooper Strikes Again, and The Duck Who Fell to Earth. This greatly expands my collection of US first-print Rosas, which so far only were Treasure Under Glass, The Empire-Builder of Calisota, The Prisoner of White Agony Creek and The Starstruck Duck. I also expanded my collection of Dutch weeklies. It's now OVER 2000!
In other words: yay! New comics!

Well, no, not actually. Inducks says I'm only 331st in their list, and that does not include Disney fans that aren't on Inducks. Besides, most of my comics are just weeklies, so nothing special. But those 85 Americans hold a special place in my heart. It's nice to read Disney comics in their original language. Also, I'm an Englishfan.
And American Disney collectors would be much higher up the list if Gold Key, then Whitman, then Gladstone and then the various Libraries hadn't been reprinting all that Barks. If they had just put in new stories (S- or D-coded) there, you'd have gone up in the list. And pocket books. You should have those as well.

Oh Well Dutch maybe you'll get there someday. I have approximately somewhere between 600 and 700 myself but I guess it doesn't matter how many you have as long as you enjoy reading them like I do.
