I wonder...I notice that it IS listed as being shorter than the earlier, unauthorized b&w edition--if I had to guess, I'd say the Porky Pig and Andy Panda stories aren't going to be included. Which is understandable for various legal reasons, obviously, but highly disappointing for collectors.
Updated after checking my copy: yeah, the original is 274 pages. This new version almost certainly doesn't include the above-mentioned or the Happy Hound stories. Bummer.

Why wouldn't it include The Happy Hound stories? They were produced for MGM, just like the Barney Bear and Benny Burro, and Benny Burro solo stories. That doesn't make ANY sense! I can see why it might be difficult to get the Warner Bros. And Walter Lantz rights. But leaving out The Happy Hound is just cruelty.

I could not answer that question. I might be wrong; I'm just going by page-count discrepancies.

I don't think it will be ; even on this one it says "Cover + introduction by Jeff Smith".
