Why did Gemstone reletter and recolor Fir Tree Fracas? It looks like garbage in the Boom book.

They didn't. I think they didn't have the original coloring availible, because when you look at Inducks you can see the exact same coloring has been used in the Scandinavian "Hall of Fame: Don Rosa 1" book.
