This is exactly the story I recall. I didn't notice the reference to OS
401 though.

As for the mythological issue, I'll send you more info on it (maybe a
scan of the first page too). It was a great story, so it's strange you
don't remember it!

i don't know much about most MM artists but i do feel quite sure that it is
NOT an art by Gottfredson, more likely by Murry??? Any confirmation?

When Incident at McDuck Tower was printed in the Donald and Scrooge
graphic album, the closing gag said "Shouldn't you be washing windows?"
Ive never read the story in it's original printing, but maybe they
realized that at least in a book celebrating Rosa's stories, they should
restore the script to the way it should've been printed all along. The
"Gertrude" line is still there though.

Oh yes, this is Gottfredson. His late 60's art doesn't look a bit like
earlier years. As far as I know, Murry didn't draw any MM strips at all
after 1945/46.

I'm also currently working on a Paul Murry website which will contain a
history of his work and plenty of illustrations. There are hardly any facts
or images yet but anybody with rare Murry material or who wants to
contribute in any way is welcome to contact me.

Actually, the Gertrude line IS NOT in the Donald and Scrooge album. It
says something to the effect of "Did you shut that window Gretta?" "Yes.
It was getting drafty." I just felt the need to correct myself.

While this story doesn't have the depth of long Rosa stories, it is
certainly funny, and it's refreshing to go back and read those simpler
stories by him, that are simply fun and don't spend great amounts of time
tying up loose ends left by Barks. (though I love those stories too!)

It looks like Gottfredson's later work. He was
still drawing the MM strip at that time.

I recalled: "Os 12 trabalhos do Morcego Vermelho". I was in doubt about
it because you said it was a Daisy series... Well, originally it was a
