requests for the story to another of our longtime lettercol pals,
Penny Kenny. I'm afraid this error was my responsibility. I think I
need some of Uncle Scrooge's memory pills.
We'll correct the record in a later lettercol; no offense to
Penny, who will hopefully enjoy "Daringly Different" herself, even if
she didn't ask for it. (-:
At least the rest of WDC&S is relatively error-free, and readers
will find vintage Sunday strips starring Panchito and Bucky Bug (hi,

DCML. I'm currently in Helsinki, and I think I will have time on Friday
to do some shopping.
Is there a good comic shop in Helsinki that you would recommend?

BTW, I already bought this week's AKU ANKKA, and it seems it mentions

a year or two ago but haven't updated their homepage since.
As to INDUCKS being mentioned in Aku Ankka: There has been some mentions
of INDUCKS in other Finnish publications recently. At least Roope-set?
(Uncle Scrooge) pocket listed some relevant Internet sites for a Disney
fan and INDUCKS was naturally mentioned first. I think I can remember
seeing INDUCKS elsewhere during last year but I can't pinpoint where.

After one or two weeks of ratings, the votes are not yet significant (never more
than 30 votes for a story) but not suprisingly Barks stories are first, with
"The Golden Helmet" and "Back to the Klondike" on top. A few Gottfredson
classics pop up, and then there are almost more Italian stories (Scarpa, De
Vita, Bottaro, Carpi) than Barks (or Rosa) stories.
For those who haven't voted: to vote for a story you need to create an account
(it is very easy). Previously it was not necessary, but there was a bit of
cheating and accounts help diminuish it. When you have an account you can also
enter which comics you have and easily see which good stories you are missing
etc.

Need help finding a Donald book...

I liked the Gladstone USA comics, but one certain
comic book stands out for me from that era. It is
Donald Duck Adventures #29, with several Donald
stories, one where Don is a tour guide and he has to
fly (literally!) back to Duckburg for a lottery prize,
and another where Donald is a pizza delivery duck.
Bill Van Horn's recent "The Perils of Pie" kind of
reminds me of that pizza delivery Donald story he did
in that book.
I am a disorganized mess, however. I need to find
this elusive Donald book, preferably in a comic shop
with tons and tons of back issues. I need your help,
guys. I need to ask you guys this: Since Gladstone
isn't printing those anymore, is Gemstone planning on
reprinting the old Gladstone/Another Rainbow Duck
books like DDA and DD (which imho is better than the
new-fangled "Donald Duck and Friends" because it was
all Donald, all the time)? There was no Mickey
stories whatsoever in those books, plus the old DDs
had Taliaferro strips, some of my very favorites in
the sheer body of Duck works.
I await those answers, you guys. You are much more
knowledgeable than I.

looking for. It may be an error, since this is listed under the issues of
the titles published by Gladstone. I suggest writing them and making sure
this is the issue you want. Usually there is a more indepth description of
back issues, and I'm seeing that they show the same cover on the list for
Gladstone and Disney published versions of the title, yet the one on the
Gladstone list is surrounded by Gladstone covers.
