Quote from user: OlivierI was referring to specific non-Disney books that appeared in the mid '80's-- I don't recall the English name for this kind of narrative (a solitary role-playing sort of book), where you are the hero and you decide at the end of each part / paragraph what to do, and go read the corresponding (numbered) paragraph elsewhere in the book.
"Choose Your Own Adventure" is what they were called.
I remember that back in the 80's you could find those things everywhere. :)

No problem, Roger.
Thanks for the name, Jonathan; translated into English, the French name for these series was "A book of which you are the hero".

Searching for news about Disney comics delays, I just found this forum and these news. Now I'll wait for Disney comics like I never did before. Just a question: what is Duck Tales #3 TPB? Maybe it's Marv Wolfman's Scrooge's Quest?
Ciao David; I wrote you an e-mail one month ago about this problem, asking you some news; did you received it?

The "DuckTales 3" referred to is indeed the Marv Wolfman volume. Though the printed book will itself be unnumbered, we referred to it as our third volume internally (with the Barks volumes being books one and two)??and that slipped into our announcement.

Alle?? Holy cow! Somehow I missed reading your letter, though looking now I see that I did receive it. My most sincere apologies, man; as you've noticed, though, your questions have been answered by the press release quoted in this forum.

This evening I went to my comic books shop, and I've found (together with Gargoyles TP) Scrooge's Quest and both November issues of WDCS and U$; welcome back in Italy, Gemstone! =D

I finally received my November Walt Disney's Comics, and I just realised that the "and Stories" isn't included in the title any more. I remember them taking the "10ยข" out of the title near the end of Dell's run with them in 1960 or so. But I didn't remember the "Stories" taken out. Was that at the start of Gladstone I?

I just checked this out and noticed that they started taking the "and Stories" off the cover with issue #600 of Gladstone Series II. Issue #601 had the full title then it disappeared again with issue #602. I believe from then on it has not appeared.

"And Stories" was also missing from the covers of issues 519-535, earlier on.
Editor-In-Chief John Clark has told me he thinks the logo works better without it??though if you look at the spine and the indicia, you'll see our comic really still has its full title.Quote from user: Allewelcome back in Italy, Gemstone! =D
Thanks, man! We're glad to be back. I'm particularly fond of the Wolf story we've got in the first new WDC&S. Gotta love Zeke telling the awesome tale of how he ate the Three Little Pigs' dad when the Three Little Pigs' dad was a kid. (Huh?! Somethin' wrong here...)

Robb, Jim Flanagan described the evolution of the cover logo in "The Year That Was 1940: Anatomy of a Masthead", published in WDC&S # 601 (the very first prestige issue).

"Gebroje eend! Jao! Jao! Jao!" means "Roast Duck! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" in Limburger patois of Dutch/Flemish.
It would be written, "Gebradende eend! Jaaaaaaaaaa!" in Dutch.
Do you remember what Barks story?
