That gives many of us a goal to shoot for. I know of a few young writer artists who might get there, one day. And, I hope I, myself, am able to at least final pencil my own stories before I am too old, and my hands start shaking.

Don Rosa sent me a letter and he told me that he's not retiring. He's just not doing any more stories. He is still drawing covers though.

Don Rosa is known worldwide for some of the greatest Duck stories ever told. Not to be sardonic, but declaring that he is through doing stories equals retiring from doing stories. Rosa's stories are what will be missed... at least by me.

Nope, it was NuttyIsa; but Katie's great, too (mexican fan/calisotalatina does good work as well). :D I love her Scrooge website, as well as her art and drawings. So there are quite a few good artists at DeviantART that might possibly fill the slot.
Whatever people might think of Rosa, I still love the man's work and deeply respect it. My life hasn't been the same since I read Life and Times of $crooge, and I had never felt so strongly for those characters until then. I thank God that both Rosa and Barks' works have come into my life. And because of the McDucks, I have a whole new appreciation for my Scottish heritage. :)
