Following up on Roger North's thread, "Should there be a movie based on the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" http://dcf.outducks.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2803#p2803 , I thought I'd play around with something here.
Just for fun, if there could be a movie based on LTo$, who would you pick for voice actors? :)
I've got a couple of actors in mind, but I want to get a pretty good list together before I mention
them.

Robbie Coltrane, with his fine Scots brogue, could play Scrooge. But I'd like him to put more "Duck" in to it than Alan Young's zero duck sound. I know lots of non-professionals that can talk like Donald Duck. He and his nephews, and Daisy also should talk like ducks, maybe slightly toned down from that of the '30s and '40s cartoons, but still discernable in their speech. Ducktales' Uncle Scrooge, without the duck sound in his voice, was totally worthless and unconvincing.

I think Alan Young did a fine job doing Scrooge's voice. I think it is a good idea that you people liked my thread enough to follow it up.

the teenage Scrooge.

How about Mike Myers? He did such a great Scottish accent in "Shrek" and as Fat B**tard in "Austin
Powers". Maybe he could do Scrooge, or perhaps Sir Quackly? (Perhaps even more than one of the characters---he's done that before! :) )
