That's great news :) I will be there!

Quote from user: ArgonautHow can I get one of those??!
Seems like you have pick it up at this store in Germany.
Perhaps they offer worldwide shipping? Just ask: http://www.comic-spielzeug.de/contact_us.php
Jano
It's not available yet -- and it will be offered exclusively during the tour. However, if there are leftovers, they might be sold separately later on (that was the case with the 2006 limited edition Lo$ book and the 2008 limited "60 Years of Scrooge" portfolio).
However, it might be possible to have one reserved for you as of now. For more information, contact Stefan from Comic & Spielzeug via the link that Charlie Brown has posted.
Oh ... I should also mention ... expect a price of - I guess - at least 150 to 200 Euros. That's the range the prices of the previous limited items were in ...

And nearer yet, to Limburg (where you are)! He will be in Köln on 5 October, and Essen on the 6th. Will you go there to see him?

I know! The rest of the time he's in Southern Germany. I think I'll go to Essen, because that's only a one-to-one-and-a-half hour drive. Unfortunately, it's on wednesday and I have to go to school. Well, I don't know my schedule for that day yet, and he is signing till 6 o'clock, so maybe... just maybe... In other words, I'll be in Essen the 6th. Of course.

Ouch! Well, I'm just gonna have to pretend there are no Rosa-styled Scrooge figures in existence then. For my bank account's sake anyway...

Does anybody know whether Rosa himself will actually profit from sales of these figurines? Because I know that the Disney comic market is pretty regressive in terms of creators' writes, but here even more than in any other situation, I think it would be some serious bullshit for him not to see some remuneration.

What a great figure!! I'm in California in the United States so I don't know if I'll be able to get one. I wrote to the link provided here and asked. I wish I could read the description. Could someone tell me what it is made of and how tall it is? I'd really appreciate it. I have the Carl Barks Eureka! figure and this would really compliment it!

I also just got back from working on a cruise ship for 2 weeks in Alaska. It was really fun to see places like Skagway after reading all of Don's stories. I resisted buying any soveigners for myself and this would be the perfect one!

Besides some marketing words the text only says that the figure is limited, numbered, hand painted and made from synthetic resin. With the figure comes a set of high quality prints and a certificate signed by Don himself.

Thanks, Charlie Brown. Oh my, and a set of high quality prints, too!! I've got to figure out a way to get this. I really don't want to have to pay $9000 a year later on eBay...

Nice! Did you get a price quote?
Jano
It was now confirmed that the price will be around ?¬ 200. Plus postage, depending on where you live.
Patrick Hanifin
I just figured out the price of the Yukon Scrooge as of today for us in America. It would be $263.68 plus postage. Now I just have to wait until October...

would love to get one, but too expensive and I loathe getting things from overseas due to the high rate of loss and large shipping costs.... besides I already have the limited 250 Uncle Scrooge (practically life size,) Big Figure and all of the the Yo! Studios statues from series 1.
Patrick Hanifin
Does anyone know how tall the Yukon Scrooge will be or even have a rough idea? I'm very curious!

You brought up some good points, Mcduck_Enterprises. It's easy to buy too many duck figures, not being able to hardly pass anything up and have a fortune tied up in them quickly. Believe me, I've been down that route! On the other hand, the first Don Rosa Scrooge is sure nice to have to complement his stories which I really, really enjoy!
