This is the English translation of a Dutch expression. "Seeing Abraham"
means "becoming 50 years old". Women "See Sarah". This expression
is not very old in Holland. It must have been imported from elsewhere.
I assumed it was American, but I was wrong, apparently.
About photos of the Hotel Barks stayed in WDC 561:

I should have known... By the way, the "Archives" *are* listed in the
