and "Land beneath the ground."
The earlier censored parts of the Klondike story have been published
quite a lot of places later, but I haven't seen the art from the other
story anywhere else. It's mostly some alternative art which Barks
redrew.
The book also contains a long interview with Barks, and some other
textpieces (by George Lucas, among others), and an index of the
American Uncle Scooge magazine. There is also a literature list, if
I don't remember wrong.
I saw the book in a comic shop here in Oslo about half a year ago, and
I saw a quite cheap used one in another, but that one disappeared
quite soon.

issue DarkWind Duck mini series done. I think he still appears in the
Disney Adventures Digest.

Yes!! I really wish Gladstone would print more of Ferioli's art in DD&MM.
His story "The Weather Wizard" in D&M #27 was my favorite story in D&M.
Compared to all the "Goofy-pretending-to-be-someone-important" stories they
print -- well, there is no comparison.

accent. I have to agree with what Don Rosa said about it depending on
how the reader thought. I never really associated $crooge with an accent

Two short messages from your Database maintainer:
"Cash Flow" was first published in Uncle Scrooge #224. It was reprinted
in Gladstone's giant album #28 (the _first_ special Rosa album; a lot of
people seem not to know this album exists).
Daniel: don't worry, the "extra" art of "Land beneath the ground" in the
Celestial Arts book was also all published in the Carl Barks Library.

Yesterday, a friend gave me a Norwegian "Donald Duck & CO". Being Dutch, I read it with interest. Especially because of the similarities between Norwegian and Dutch. I thought that I would like "Donald Duck" in some more languages, and I think some of you guys would be interested, too.
But anyway, it gave me the following idea:
I'm prepared to *physically* send some non-Dutch list members this week's DUTCH issue of "Donald Duck" in exchange for their LOCAL version of "Donald Duck".
Maybe we could create a list of interested people that than can send all other members of the list their local issues
Or has this all been done before ?

I'm proud to tell our Italian readers that my work has been
presented in their native language for the first time. WALT DISNEY
MEGA-2000 N. 464, alongside a whopping FOUR Hard-Haid Moe reprints,
featured my first two Egmont stories:
"Two in One" = "Zio Paperone e il doppio pericolo"
"Pork-Barrel Politics" = "I Maialini Addestrati"
I'm still pretty pleased with the concepts for these stories,
but maybe I've advanced as a writer since then... the only way for
anyone to tell is to see my more recent stuff. We live and learn, we
work, we mature. (I just hope my recent stuff's better, not worse!)
The stories have been cut-and-pasted to turn them from
eight-panel pages into six-panel pages. Disney Italy also SWITCHED
two pages of "Pork-Barrel Politics" after they'd finished this
process; pages 139 and 140 of MEGA-2000 N. 464 are in the wrong order
and the second one should be read first.
The color's pretty good, I think. It's a shame to see the
stories get so mutilated but -- hey, Mondadori did it to Barks and
Gottfredson, so why not to me? ;-)
So go on, Fabio, buy a thousand copies, tell Disney Italy why
you did it, and then they'll put my stories into the ZIO PAPERONE with
Rosa and Rota and Jippes ;-) ;-) ;-)
