Hi,

I was wondering if one of the Brazilian members of the list could help me
with that one.

I am looking for the following books and am ready to pay or trade to get
them or some of them. Any info ? Any ideas ?

Series called "Anos de Ouro" (Golden Years) published ten years ago:

1988 - "Anos de Ouro do Pato Donald"
(Donald Duck's Golden Years) - 3 volumes.
Reprint in full of the first 21 "O Pato Donald"
issues (years 1950 to 1952);

1989 - "Anos de Ouro do Ze' Carioca"
(Ze' Carioca's Golden Years) - 4 volumes.
Reprint in full of the first 52 "Ze' Carioca"
issues (years 1961/62);

1991 - "Anos de Ouro do Tio Patinhas"
(Uncle Scrooge's Golden Years) - 4 volumes.
Reprint of the major stories published in the
first 16 "Tio Patinhas" issues (years 1963 to 1966)

the Mileshigh site but the comics-pack wasn't there. Did anybody else found

I think it's nice to get to know something about other collections.
You are free to put anything that you wan't on the mailinglist as long as it
is about comics! I saw there where lot's of sorry's on the #145 issue!

I also have a quastion about my own collection:
I've got a lithograph where I don't know anything about. Even not
where i've got it from:
Donald Duck is on it 8 times: and the first Donald is drawing the
second and he's drawing the third..so on:
1 old style with a big mouth and weird hands painiting with a
feather.
2 like Donald is in most of the story's drawing with pencil
3 Donald with his three caballeros outfit on painting with an
fountain pen
4 like Donald is in most of the story's drawing with an pencil
5 Donald in an Himalaya (?) outfit and a panflute drawing with
fountain pen.
6 Donald like Donald is in most of the story's. he's looking mad a
his pencil
7 Donald with an airbrush
8 Donald with pink blouse and purple tie.
They are standing in line like and turned around six

I think it's a reprint of a litho because if i payd much buck for it
I should know.
In the righ-lower corner is written in gold (Exclusive Commemorative
Lithograph. The Walt Disney Studios 1994)
Does anybody knows the title, author (Don Rosa perhaps?) and what
the name of the #5 outfit is and what movie it is from.?????

A Carl Barks club would be nice i think but what is left to discust
about the guy. He's getting old you know. I thought he was just sitting on
his ass enjoying his retirement!! I guess i'm wrong?

All I know is that Carl Fallberg wrote a lot of Disney comics, starting in
the 50s (and ending in the 80s?).
Anyone can help her with more information?

That depends on your view of the intrinsic value of something labeled as a "collectible" (to some they are precious, to others they are ... NOT so precious). You do have a lithograph. Everything that is printed, except for (photo-offset) newspapers, is printed by the lithographic technique. Every soup can label is a lithograph. Every comic book contains *hundreds* of tiny lithographs. There is a special "classic" style of lithography for art prints... but that's not one because it does not come from a fine painting, just a colored drawing. Plus Disney sells and gives away prints all the time to video buyers and such, and they call them ALL "lithographs" (which they are). It is simply a "poster" with a special collectible label on it. The identical item was sold as a poster about 10 years back, costing around $4. If you paid more than that for yours, you were paying the extra $ only for the words "Exclusive Commemorative Lithograph" written in gold, which may or may not be w!

But you have good taste (I hope)! I have one of those ($4 versions) hanging on my wall. Except I put a circle-and-slash mark over that #8 "grundgey teeny-bopper" Donald and crossed out where it says "TODAY" and wrote "NEVER!!!" That version of Donald is a non-existant one, probably coming from the same ad guy who created the non-existant "Disney baby" characters for merchandising.

Or, if you're lazy, make a list of all the comics you DON'T have and use a
regular pencil to update the list. It couldn't be easier!

Sure, he and his wife have co-written dozens of stories for Egmont since
the Gladstone era. He writes some on his own as well, but he never
illustrates them. I heard that he brought some artwork to a meeting with
the editors a few years back, but unfortunately, it didn't fit the taste of
the art director.

in Denmark.
No artwork, though.
