Hi. I´ve just registered, so this is my first post, though I´ve been visiting this forum almost daily since I discovered you, a couple of months ago.

I am a Spanish fan since I was three years old. I learned to read with Barks' stories. I´m 41 now and I have to admit that nowadays I am even a bigger fan than my 11 and 6 years old children are.

I usually buy my comic books at Amazon. I don´t know if I'm right or not, but it seems tnat Uncle Scrooge 377 and Disney comics 692 are taking too long to be put on sale. What do you think? Does anyone of you already have them?

Bienvenidas, Jorgito, Jaimito, Juanito! Tú nombre es muy interesante! ¿Tiene Usted trés personalidades?

In what city do you live? My brother lived in Madrid for 5 years, and I used to visit him there. I have a work partner who lives in Majorca, and a pen friend near Tarragona. Do you look for second hand Spanish Disney comic books? Maybe you can find me the two Spanish books that contain the only two stories of mine printed in España?

I didn't know you spoke spanish Robb. Anyway Triple J I don't know if they are out yet or not. I think it's possible that the company might be going on hiatus again. My subscription to Walt Disney's Comics and Stories has expired but I still have two issues left of Uncle Scrooge. Hopefully in one or two weeks I will be able to receive the latest issue in the mail.

Hi, Robb. No, I don't have three personalities. At least I hope I don't... http://dcf.outducks.org/img/smilies/big_smile.png It's just I couldn't make my mind up about which of the three cute ducklings was my favourite.

I was born in the northern part of Spain, in a beatiful middle sized town called Santander. But I live in Madrid since 1985, where I came for my university studies.

When I got my degree I stayed here to work. I often go to Santander where my mother, brother and sister live, but I call Madrid my home nowadays.

I am not looking for second hand Spanish Disney comics at this moment, but I have a lot of them since my childhood days. The first ones were bought in 1970. Who knows? I may have the books that contain your stories. Tell me which these books were and I´ll have a look.

Thanks, I will list them, after finding the issue references in COA. They both come from the early 1990s.

I love Santander. It's so green and beautiful there. That area, and The Basque Region, and Galicia are my favourite parts of Spain.

My name is Roger North and I have been a long time reader and collector of Disney Comics since 1987.
Steamboat Willie
Hello! I am Steamboat Willie (also known as Bror Hellman, by the IRS) and I am fairly new at this Disney stuff.. I have only been reading Disney comics since somewhere around late 1972. I am a member of the NAFS(k) [National Donaldist Society of Sweden] and I once met Carl Barks. I have met Don Rosa a few times and he even knew my name. I am also the reigning nordic champion of comics, but I count on loosing that title this year. I can just assume that it was a fluke that I won last year. ... well, it was a team effort and it's a team sport so I am only one of a few nordic champions.
I do sometimes contribute to the INDUCKS and OUTDUCKS collections. I read this forum and I sometimes write here.
Timoro
My name is Timo Ronkainen (timoro) and among other things, I have created Duck-Barks -fanzine Ankkalinnan Pamaus which have been around some 10 years now, with 20 published issues. I have been busy with almost everything that has something to do with comics in Finland. I'm professional cartoonist, letterer and graphic designer. Member of Finnish Comics Society, The Finnish Comics Professionals Society Sarjakuvantekijät ry, Finnish Critics' Association and I have followed DCML at least for 12 years by now. Contributed little to the INDUCKS.
Cacou
I started reading Disney comics in the late 80s. and am a regular and long-time contributor to Inducks, and have created the COA (the main Inducks) website. I met Don Rosa, Giorgio Cavazzano, Giovan Battista Carpi, Pierre Nicolas and Luciano Bottaro, among others, and I shacked hands with Carl Barks. I met the French, Italian and US publishers, and, of course, many duck fans.
Scroodude

... and Robb also owns the record for the highest number of different single flags in a thread! (4, I think)
Robb_K
That should increase to five in 2 days when I'll again become Danish. And 6 when I become Belgian in September.
Pmspg
I started reading Disney comics in the late 70's. I had break of nearly 20 years and rediscovered Disney comics in 2002 and then became a real fan and a collector. Since 2004 I have been a contributor of Inducks and since 2006 I have been publishing some articles (in french) on my blog dedicated to Disney comics.

Hi Robb...
Would have loved to meet you in Aalborg this weekend, now you're Danish, but I had a previous engagement elsewhere.

Asger,-Do I know you by your real name? Never mind. I looked up your name, and know that I haven't met you or heard about you from my friends or DDFR members. Maybe we'll meet some time. I'll be here about 5 weeks. I'm leaving Jylland in a few days, and going to Sjæland.

Where do you live (if you don't mind my asking)?
Ole Damgaard
I am a reader and collector of Disney comics, a member of the Danish Donaldist Society (and also a board member and the editor of the society fanzine), a small-scale contributor to I.N.D.U.C.K.S. (mostly with maintenance of the danish index), I contribute to outducks.org with many scans, and I occasionally write about comics for websites, fanzines and a magazine. Also I am a (quite inactive) member of another danish comics association, and a long-time subscriber of DCML.
I consider many participants on this forum as good friends. Some are "internet-friends", like Cacou, EBi and others, and some I see in real life now and then, like Robb K (the stand-up comedian), Lars Jensen, Hedberg, JAlbertsen, Henry Fox and others.

And you are a "wall artist", too!
