Great news, friends! William Van Horn will base his next comic (D2009-123 - From Dawn 'Til Dusk - 10 pages) on a script written by Milano aka Peter Kowalewski!
After Peter had sent his final draft to Bill on April 4, Egmont's editor-in-chief Byron Erickson gave his thumbs-up on April 21. Bill got busy at once and finished his layout script on May 4. He largely kept to Peter's draft, jazzing up the dialogs with the typical Van Horn touch. Probably he is already drawing the story now.
The plot: The Ducks go to Knob Knocker Flats to search for an appropriate rock for the Junior Woodchucks' sculpture contest. Soon they meet a strange scientist ... That's all I'm gonna tell you about it. Just let me quote from a letter which I sent to Bill along with the first draft of Peter's script: "I think Peter is a natural talent. This is a real Van Horn if I ever saw one!"
