I never saw that resemblance between Gosalyn and that girl in the picture. Who is She anyway? Is that Susie McIder from the Quack Pack episode with Beef Jerky in it? I don't remember the name of the Episode.

I love Donald...he always being so cute with his anger and bad luck. I don't know why..but in my country, Donald is more popular than Mickey Mouse.

The ONE thing worth salvaging from the megabomb that was QUACK PACK was the redesigned Daisy. I thought of her while reading the "Rightful Owners" serial in kaboom! DUCKTALES and seeing the "classic" Daisy act as a reporter. If there had only been some way to plug the QP Daisy into DUCKTALES... Though, given the time at which that series was produced, a "contemporary" Daisy might have wound up looking more like the "big-haired" Daisy of HOUSE OF MOUSE, or even (dare I say it??) Launchpad's "Valley Girl" sister Loopy McQuack from "Top Duck."

I think it is weird that Daisy appeared in the Duck Tales comic book series but not the animated TV series. If she was on the show I think she would have had her pre Quack Pack look but she would been a reporter. Too Bad there was no way she could fit in the series. Donald wasn't even on the show except for a few episodes. It was mostly about Scrooge and the nephews anyway.

Yeah, there seemed to be no room for Daisy on "Duck Tales". Like you said, even Donald only made a handful of appearances, and I think Gladstone Gander only appeared twice. She simply had to wait until "Quack Pack" to get a part in a TV show.

That is so true Furienna. I still think it would be interesting to see how the Duck Tales universe became the Quack Pack universe.

I actually think those are two different universes, albeit with partially the same characters.

I agree. They actually have different sources. As has been pointed out on other threads, Quack Pack is based on the animated Donald Duck universe (with Daisy, the boys and Ludwig, and a human supporting cast akin to the shorts). The only exceptions were the episode "All Hands on Duck", the use of a Beagle Boy cameo in one episode, and the fact that Donald's hometown is still called "Duckburg", all of which are weak links to DuckTales. That's why the teenaged HD&L bear little resemblance to their DuckTales counterparts and never mention the Junior Woodchucks; it's easier to see the Donald cartoon versions of the nephews growing in to the Quack Pack versions. On the other hand, DuckTales was, at least initially, based on Barks' comic book universe.
I agree. They actually have different sources. Man at first I thought this topic was going to be about portions of duck Tales where the animators forgot to draw Donald's tail or something. The original topic though seems really off topic now, so I'll just reply to the stuff at hand
I have to agree that it might be Webby in that screenshot. Not just the hair, but also the pink track suit I figured might be a hint as well.
Well, the different source thing actually makes sense. I could never figure out why they changed so drastically in a few years or something, or why Scrooge disappeared. Speaking of Scrooge, it might be possible that he died and the money just got locked down until HD&L grew up, but I personally think that the most Disneyeque thing to happen is for him to have gone off to some treasure hunt or a business meeting for the duration of the show. That's what I'd like to believe anyway.
Though I have to say, I don't really like to show myself. I have to admit I only saw a few episodes, but it seems way too "Totally Radical" for me to the point of being very facepalm inducing. Goof Troop is more than enough. It seems like they were trying to apply stereotypical 90's teen into them, which was...rather painful in my opinion. Also have to agree with the opinion a few pages before with the human's in the show thing. Just why? I find it rather weird that no one seems to notice that they are living among DUCKS. In fact there was an episode where Huey was hitting on a human girl, just to find out she was actually a robot (for extra creepiness). I usually don't like shows that have the characters grow up, because it seems all too often they just do so for a gimmick. Quack Pack is no different to me.

Yeah, that was my problem with QP too. I know that Donald interacted with humans in the old classic shorts, but we usually never got to see their faces, so it wasn't that creepy. But in "Quack Pack", it was like they never even thought about how weird it was. I know it's a cartoon, and that it maybe wasn't supposed to be that realistic, but still...
