Well, it could have many of the Ducktales characters, then remove them and add them like this;

Season 1;All Ducktales characters except Launchpad
Season 2;Remove Bubba, Webby, add Daisy
Season 3; Remove Scrooge, Mrs.Beakley, add Donald, Kent Powers(also change nephews personalites)

I would still just want Quack Pack back through(one with more action through, and one maybe that gets bumped to PG)....

Oh, a explantion of why Donald and Daisy worked for Kent Powers(I would guess)
Kent powers worked for Glomgold in the past. Scoorge took care of Huey, Dewey, and Louie for some time. One day, he went out to explore a moutain which may contained a valauble treasure, but he was killed in a landslide. (This also caused the nephews to change dramaticly.) Meanwhille Donald leaves the navy and meets Daisy. Donald and his nephews should been taking Scrooge's money, but all of it was lost in a scam set up by Glomgold, who then ran away and was never seen again. The Beagle Boys eventally moved to St. Canard. Kent becomes the host for What In The World, and Daisy and Donald were hired.

Launchpad needed his own show.
According to Wikipedia, Talespin was originally planned as a DuckTales spinoff, with Launchpad as the lead. Don Rosa supposedly worked on a few early episodes of the show, so I'm guessing he was working on story ideas when it was still a Duck show (Yes? No?)
Would've been interesting, for sure. Not sure why they switched to the Jungle Book crew...?

Launchpad was still on "Duck Tales" at the time though, and he later got an important role on "Darkwing Duck".

That's a good theory Furienna. Of Course Launchpad was still a supporting character on both shows. Apparantly Disney liked Launchpad enough to give him another show but not to make him the lead character.

Seems to be different in the Ducktales universe. Then again, everything's different, like Scrooge turned into a nice guy.

Yeah, Scrooge was a lot nicer in "Duck Tales" than in the old comics. Daisy was never seen, or even mentioned, in "Duck Tales", but I never thought, that it was supposed to mean, that Donald hadn't met her yet.
