Quote from user: FuriennaQuote from user: MonochromeAlso have to agree with the opinion a few pages before with the human's in the show thing. Just why? I find it rather weird that no one seems to notice that they are living among DUCKS. In fact there was an episode where Huey was hitting on a human girl, just to find out she was actually a robot (for extra creepiness).
Yeah, that was my problem with QP too. I know that Donald interacted with humans in the old classic shorts, but we usually never got to see their faces, so it wasn't that creepy. But in "Quack Pack", it was like they never even thought about how weird it was. I know it's a cartoon, and that it maybe wasn't supposed to be that realistic, but still...
Hmmm, I don't really recall humans being in the old classics shorts, oh well. I think part of the problem is that no matter what universe this is suppose to be a sequel to, it goes from no humans to human everywhere, taking over pretty much all extra roles, and well, needless to say I don't like that very much.
This is going slightly off topic, but in Kingdom Hearts, Donald and Goofy interacted with humans all the time too and not one seems to care either. It's taken up to the eleven with the Pirates of the Caribbean world. You would think SOMEBODY would mention "Hmm, there seems to be a talking clothed duck that can wield magic, a talking clothed dog with a shield, and this really bright coloured boy here randomly. I feel that there's something unusual with this picture" But no, they didn't stick out at all; nothing to see there. Are we, the viewers missing something here?

I believe you usually didn't see their faces. You only saw them from behind, or maybe even only their arms and their hands. I can only think of three DD shorts, where you actually saw a human face.

Well, hallucinatory humans, I guess. Also, looks like women have five fingers in this universe, and men just four.

So, Pete, an anthropomorphic cat, has a nephew, who's an anthropomorphic dog, who wears a human mask? That certainly makes sense.
Interesting though that all the supporting characters are Bassett-hound type "dogpeople" rather than humans in this short. Not Barksian dogpeople, but dogpeople nevertheless.

I don't think he really was Pete's nephew, but only his side-kick. Did you notice the humans at the fair and in the audience at the boxing match? We only get quick glimpses of them, but they are there...

Actually, it looks like the crowd is human at the beginning of the cartoon (top picture) and suddenly becomes almost-Barksian dogperson during the boxing match (bottom picture) .... sort of a reverse DuckTales-Quack Pack situation!

Bizarre. I guess humans and dogfaces are completely segregated in this version of Duckburg? More likely, the animators just used backgrounds previously used for other cartoons (explaining the inconsistency), or two separate groups of animators worked on those parts of the cartoon, and got different memos.

That first example was kind of creepy I have to say, but in the boxing one, why did Donald get a black eye at the end? He didn't get hit by anything.
