I have to agree. There are so many stories that we have yet to see in the U.S. and now may never get a chance to. While I enjoy reading a story over again, there is always something special about reading one for the first time and seeing new ideas. Opening the newest issue to see what is inside is always a thrill for me. And a shame that we will not get to see any more new Van Horn stories, which I always look forward to.
Even though we already know, it would be nice if someone from Gemstone could give an official word on what their status is and will be for the future.
I guess now we can only hope that some publisher out there enjoys Disney comics so much that they would be willing to publish them for no profit, since that seems to be the only way we may see them again. I won't be holding my breath.

I would, too, but I honestly don't think there's nearly enough demand for them in the U.S., especially in this unstable, indebted market.

I'm in for two Don Rosa's Library collection, and also two Carl Barks Collection.
And you know it's going to take a while when they publish every single one of them.

I just don't see how they continue publishing. Not in this economy.
My guess is that they want to keep their options open so they don't have to give back subscription money.
