I know the topic of not getting responses has just come up, and while I
truly do understand, I would at least like to know if anyone actually
goes to see my art. I'm the first person to admit I don't hold a candle
to Barks, Rosa, Van Horn, Scarpa, [Insert your other fav. artist here],
but I am somewhat proud of my drawings, in my own way. So could someone
at least tell me whether they go to see it or not? I realize it's
mainly pictures of Goldie wearing fancy dresses, and I won't be offended
if you aren't going to see it, but I'd like to know. If no one looks at
my art, I won't be in such a hurry to get the new pictures up.
A "yes" or "no" response would be fine.

Thanks again for the advice. At great risk to my marriage I
ordered the Donald Duck Adventures set in the Carl Barks Library in
Color series. My only regret is that I think the covers are awful in
comparison to the original comics and other reprints, such as the German
ones. Has this topic already been explored in the discussion group?
In any event, here is a link you might enjoy. It contains
covers to the German reprint series. My apologies if it has already
been submitted.

Here's something I just read in the local paper here in Sweden...
Apparently, Don Rosa has won an award called "unghunden" for his
Lo$-album, which will be presented to him in Stockholm this saturday.
Don, if you're still reading this list, I just want to congratulate you,
you deserve it!
Regards,
Martin Berglund

Gladstone "In Color" albums
Message 156 -

Hi everyone.
I've read about the new "Uncle Scrooge & Donald Duck In Color" and
"Walt Disney's Comics In Color" albums that are supposed to come out this
spring in America, and I'm wondering if I should bother to buy them. Are
they all Barks, or is there other stuff in there too?
If anyone has a list of the contents of the albums, I'd love to see it.
Sorry if this has been discussed to death before.
Thanks!

Great pages on Disney books, Didier!
I reccomend everyone that hasn't checked them out yet
to do so!
http://www.pizarro.net/didier
There seems to be lots of interesting Disney comics published in
Italy nowdays. Anyone that can recommend a shop that sells old
issues of I Maestri Disney and Zio Paperone? Guess I'm not the only one
suffering from not beeing able to get those books, but if you find it "off
topic" for this mailing list please contact me privately with the adresses.
(Maybe someone even know how to subscribe to those titles?)

Did this happen at my end, or your end? In any case, we gotta get

Hi
I've conducted an interview with Don Rosa (hi Don, and thank's :) via
e-mail for a netzine I'm running with a couple of friends, and am using
this opportunity to shamelessly advertize it ;-)
So if you're interested in it, you can find the english version at:
http://panacea.norgesnett.no/pn.phtml?src=english_don_rosa.html
and the norwegian version is at
http://panacea.norgesnett.no/pn.phtml?src=don_rosa.html
The norwegian edition has a better layout ATM, but hopefully that will be
fixed next week...
Our english articles are listed at
http://panacea.norgesnett.no/pn.phtml?src=english_index.html
Enjoy! :)

another announcement
of an interesting webpage but there you see - I have
already forgotten which one it was...

About living in Italy; I went to Italy (Acquasparta/Terni) last year, and it
really seems to be beautiful place, *however*, don't expect
(like I did) to find a second hand shop stuffed with old Topolino
issues on every corner.
