style is quitting us poor readers.
BUT I think it MUST be. What about your job when you
will be 60 and more ?
Don't forget Carl Bark that leave the "factory" when he
was approximatly 60 too.
And he came back sometimes, so we can hope.
And what's life without hope?
Thank you mister Scarpa! Hope you will find peace
in your new life. We'll regret you.
(If he really ends drawing for Disney - and so Disney

One year ago, I heard someone talking about Carpi's work, and saying
that his art has *changed* a lot. Is this true?

I have bought Topolino #797 today
and there is an advertisement for
a book named "Le ministories di QQQ",
given for a subscription.
There is a "view" of a storie:
It is in black and white.
Stories look like an American artist (Taliaferro?)
I also saw ;) this kind of offer /-[) for Paperinik (origins
in one book).
What about those books? Is there any interest with them
except the fact they are promotional?

Well... I DON'T KNOW the truth. But I'm SURE that there was no
mistakes in the credits. A lot of times, in last months, Carpi told me
he was working on that story. But, indeed, I'm also sure (noone told
it to me) that he didn't worked alone. And that some "ghost" of him
didn't help him as well as he could. I think that Carpi's schedule was
really tight, he was thinking to other arguments (different from
Disney comics) and he was compelled to give the pages to the
publisher to let that "Topolino" come out in time. I also know that
the story was thought longer that it was (at least) by Michelini and
that has been cut, maybe in order to finish the drawings as faster as
he could... but this is ONLY my opinion.
What I can surely tell you is that Carpi is still drawing, in 1998, in
a rrrreally better way than he demonstrated for that story. So you
have to wait for the next one, and trust in him.

Actually, it's JTe instead of JTG.

Murry's splash panels have Mickey and Goofy driving in a red car
with sadly looking "eyebrows". JTe copied that look exactly.
