The new Diamond catalog shows that Dark Horse Comics is publishing the comics
adaptation of this summer's Disney's Tarzan (it hurts to write that) movie.
Since the publisher has recently made such a stink about how it just kills him
to have to put the comics code authority seal on some of his comics so that
parents can be assured they are fit for their children, might this be an
indication that Dark Horse may get the other Disney licenses to improve their
newsstand presence? Just speculation on my part.

Strictly speaking, and to be ultra-pedantic poetically, this is not an ode
but a ballad: a ballad comprises quatrains where the lines are in iambic
pentameter, and the lines alternate between 8 syllables and 6 syllables, and
this is what Mr Barks has produced.

I can tell you one more situation in which it happens. See the Tony
Strobl story "Paperino e la grande carica" (last reprint on
"Paperino" #183, Sept. 1995, page 82). One of the BB is called "Joe"
by another one. In the original version this name there isn't.
And in the Quilico/Martina/Perego story "P in "Botte o risposte?" (TL
125/1956) twwo BB are called Gianni (plate number 777) and Gionni
(778).

Yes. It's a mistake from the publisher.
Originally Scarpa gave them: 176-671 and so on (and also in
translations abroad they have. But NOT, for example, on "Picsou
Magazine" n.111/1981). In the reprint made by Comic Art (Capolavori
Disney 7) We discovered the problem, and a lettersit from Comic Art,
in Rome, restored them. By they have just been erased from the b&w
films for some reasons... Indeed, you must add this peculiarity in the
data base, I think...

stories. Please, Marco, tell Alberto that yes, I've really
appreciated his answer. "Spin and Marty" stories are
exactly the info I was looking for.
In the Brazilian versions, the logo of the ranch (not a farm
as I said) was just a triangle, and it's obvious now that the editor
erased the "3-R". Those stories are known here as "Juca & Mario".
I didn't know about the TV series; it was never shown here.
It's a pity. Based on the comics version, it seemed to be good.

discovery in the Disney stories field.
There is a bunch of storie, signed by Carpi and Rota, that noone put=20
in their chronologies (included also Alberto's and mine).
They were printed in 1970, as small booklets (in the Albi di Topolino=20
size, with no cover) distributed with T only for the region of Milano.
Read following what I added in the chronology of Carpi's works that=20
now I'm completing, and that's not "public" yet.
"Eta Beta e la raffineria Pippo", 8, Carpi, supplemento a T 746=20
(15/3/70). Si tratta di un fascicoletto educational autonomo, allegato=20

In Sweden, the Beagles have names in the DuckTales comics and/or movies.
