greetings duck fans!
i have not posted in a long time and i was curious if the fine art of the
duck clan has returned to the united states in comics? ( - since gladstone
stopped making the comics?) i eagerly awaited the gladstone comics (and i
must say - the disney produced ones while they were out) and am still sad
that they stopped. if anyone can help me out and let me know if i have
missed the start of the return of the ducks (donald, uncle $crooge or
others) to the english language.
any input is welcome. sorry for my language deficiency (am only read
english text but the pictures speak for themselves - especially rosa
artwork!) but i need the english text.

No. There aren't still any Disney comics published in the US.

Oh, sorry for the mix-up. I meant that the "Megalo Miky" issue included
storie*s* by Carpi and Scarpa: one by Carpi and one by Scarpa. Then, I only
wrote the Scarpa story ("Candelor"), leaving out the separate Carpi story,
'cause I didn't know its code and original title...

To get back on topic, is PM's almost exclusive printing of Barks and Rosa
stories similar to Gladstone's re-re-...-printing of Barks stories? If
so, I can understand your frustration. On the other hand, if this is the
only vehicle for printing these stories (e.g., there is no Barks or Rosa
in Mickey Parade), and the stories have not been printed in France for
some time, then this may not necessarily be a bad thing.

daughter. She popped up in issue 41 in 1999 in the danish weekly on
some fact-page. no references to any story. maybe you could give me
such a code for a story, so that i can look up the story, if there have
actually been published any stories with her in Europe.

The Phantom Blot's daughter appears in the MMA #8 issue. It is the famous issue with the John Byrne Cover-page - one of the absolute best cover pages with Mickey in the last 20 years!! The story itself is also among the very best modern Blot-stories IMHO.

The date in the bottom of the INDUCKS homepage looks like this:
"Last updated January 7, 19100."
Either Gyro has been updating the pages after a tour in one of his Time Machines - but that is not likely, since he didn't update INDUCKS from 2000 - 19100. So it is almost certainly a Y2K-bug.

Secondary, there's no place for all AT stories or D stories
which are conceived to be printed with a layout of 4 strips
by page.
The "Journal de Mickey" includes at the most 2 stories and
the others publications are in layout 3.
So i'd like to read sometimes M. Rota for example who is
never published in France actually because most of the
stories he did were in layout 4.
And i think M. Rota is unavoidable.
Thirdly, The C. Barks stories published in PM should be
at least the ones which weren't published 5 years ago.
You know, there's many stories of C. Barks which were
published in France in the 50s which aren't reprinted
since this period.
This doesn't make any difference for the new readers
and would satisfy the older.
But i think it's too much expensive for Hachette :-(

in the process of indexing those books.
I'm sending a list of the titles to Didier, and also to anyone else who
might be interested in it.
BTW, we don't have access to all of the books, so we'd gladly accept any
help from people whose collections are more complete than ours ;-)

Great the cover may be (and the story's not bad, either), but I wonder
if the people who created the Blot's daughter were under the impression
that the Blot is some kind of space alien, instead of a human wearing a
black hood. Why else would she be portrayed as a minature version of the
hooded Blot? I can't imagine a loving father, as the Blot is portrayed
in that story, forcing his child to wear a hood at all times!
