At DCML digest, Vol 1 #279 I asked, that does enyone know where can I get
Don Rosa's non-Disney comics (Pertwillaby Papers and Captain Kentucky),
which are going to be published in two books (which will be sold in one
case) by some Danish publisher.
But the publisher isn't Danish, it's German! Sorry about the mistake.
Still waiting for answers...

Hello!

Once in a time I'm very happy after reading the weekly
Topolino!!!

In this issues there are some interesting things that I'd like to
share with you:

The first story is from Cavazzano (written by Mezzavilla) and is
a weird one, not "silly" as usual, that I liked very much.
Deserves a 7 in a 1-10 range

Then a Young DD story (Paperino Paperotto) nothing memorable, but
it made me laugh! 6+

What's interesting is a new serial of stories inspired to
Hemingway short stories. There are also some pages of editorials
abot Hemingway, Cavazzano (the co-ordinator of the project), Tha
"Accademia Disney" (the place where new Disney artist grow up),
and the new artists who will drawn those stories (8 in total). A
mark of 8 summing up story and articles!

A short Gilbert story... well... 3- (you can't have everything!)

The most interesting story of the issue, IMHO, is "Paperinik e
l'anatema punitivo" (Super Duck and the punitive curse) where
Donald wears again Paperinik costume, but not as a super hero,
but as an avenger of himself: like in many stories from the early
70ties, Gladstone and Scrooge team up against Donald to bother
him while he is with Daisy. Well, DD wears his costume to have
his vengance. Also, this story is well drawn by Fabio Celoni, one
of the artist I more used to blame... but recently his style
become very interesting, and nowadays I like his art a lot. 8 1/2

The lasst story is with the Ducks in 1927, few months before the
great Wall Strees crisis... pretty interesting topic, since the
Nasdaq falling... I'd say a 6 1/2

To conclude: a very, very, very good issue. Thanks to everyone
involved who could be reading this.

Mistake then, mistake now!
The publisher who is going to publish Don Rosa's non-Disney comics isn't
German! It's not Danish, it's not German, it's Norwegian!!!
Sorry about the mistake, AGAIN! Although this time I did remember the
country right. It was a typeing mistake, a BAD typeing mistake (all the
letters were wrong)!

That was issue #2341, if I understand well.
And in the following issue, #2342, you will find a sequel of Bottaro's I TL
188-A "Il dottor Paperus". Very interesting, with lots of quotes from other
stories like I TL 312-B and the Hazel-Goofy saga.

And we are looking forward to Faraci's last story, next December...

greek name is Indiana Goofy (Intiana Goufy). Can you help me? Thanks a lot

Hi,

Yes, a quite strange history, but it seems to be a "truncated" one.
The first time I read it, I did'nt like it at all
I would like very much to know more about your opinion of the story.
Why did you like it?

I think it's only a collection of unbound illustrations, there is'nt a
plot, the story suddenly stops and nobody, me at least ;-), may
understand what's really happened

It would be of any significance if you might consider it as a change
of direction in editorial guide-line, often forcing stories to strictly
obey academic stereotypes, both on artistic and script point of view
I'm afraid it's but a single experiment

Pippo de Pipps = Goofy
I don't think there is any English name.
