My best guess is that the uninformed, just-in-it-for-profit, e-Bay seller of
"canned CGC goods" may have made a serious mistake.
Though the mistake may not be totally his or hers. There was a Golden Age DC
Comics artist named Fred Guardineer who may have had some work reprinted in
BATMAN #180.
In at least one price guide, I've seen artist designations for BOTH Fred
Guardineer AND Floyd Gottfredson abbreviated as "FG". Yes, both artists were
listed in the SAME price guide as "FG".
So, here we may very well have a case of someone labeling and selling
something he or she DOES NOT HAVE THE PROPER KNOWLEDGE OF -- and I suspect
that if the winning bid for this copy of BATMAN #180 has come from a
Disney/Gottfredson fan, that fan is going to be VERY disappointed.
This is why I only buy comics that I can SEE, HOLD, AND FLIP THROUGH!

You're correct, both pencil drawings are on a single
piece of yellow, lined paper. I think they were
supposed to be ideas for the Barks Treasury. His hand-
writing had already become shaky when this was done.
You're also correct about the other two sketches.

hard to get one of the first twenty, but the rest are pretty easy to get, if
you are in Helsinki at the time they are published (when Don is here). You
might want to ask one from Good Fellows or one of the major bookstores
(Akateeminen or Suomalainen).

Indeed... The ZP now in the newsstands is (IMHO) a perfect sample of
"international Duck mag", starring Barks, Don Rosa, Milton & Jippes, Vicar,
Scarpa (with a Studio Disney subject) and two stories on $crooge's western
past, drawn by Branca and Rota.
There is no place for our articles in such a rich dish, but a (hope)
interesting survey shall come out in the next issue, dedicated to LUDWIG
VON
DRAKE 40th anniversary (from his first introduction in comics and on TV).
So, some Ludwig's forgotten stories shall be available again.

in one of the first pages of the story.
I realise that the person at the danish publisher who puts in texts

And even if I was, the price is always a problem. Does anyone know how
expencive they will be? Hmm... leatherbound + small number of books +
numbering (numbering always makes them expencive, I hate the Numbers)...
1000 marks? 1000 euro?

290 $) and the volumes 20-100 1000 FIM (about 150 $) (I hope I counted
the dollar prices correct). The Finnish name of the book will be
