Since the other thread went the digression way, here is one devoted to quizes on Carl Barks' stories.

The other thread was never intended to be a Barks Quiz thread here. I only used it to let members here know that we have interesting Barks quizzes at <www.mcdrake.nl>.
However, I'm glad to see we will have them here, too.
Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question above.

Is it one of the stories where Donald and the kids are letter carriers?

It's "Super Snooper"! :)
My turn now:
"Good morning, miss! You are to young and pretty to be mistress of such a fine old house, so I judge you are the maid!"

That's from "Salesman Donald," the egg-beater ten-pager.

Okay, here's a tough one:
Name 18 (!) Duck family members that were used, named or mentioned by Carl Barks, but were nevertheless omitted from Don Rosa's Duck Family Tree? Please include a story title or Inducks-link in your answer.
- Only 7 of these were unseen characters.
- The question refers to this version of Rosa's Family Tree, which includes Daisy and her nieces.
- These 18 characters have been family members right from their first appearance. Characters that were retroactively made into family members, e.g. Flintheart Glomgold, don't count.

How do you define "Duck family"? For instance: Barks mentioned Daisy's sister... but is Daisy part of the Duck family?

Quote from user: Lars JensenHow do you define "Duck family"?
The family as shown in this version of Rosa's Family Tree. That is, anyone who is in one way or another related to the main characters, defined by me as Donald, Gladstone, Daisy, Scrooge and Grandma. Anyone named Duck is obviously included.

She's indeed one of the missing relatives, but I'll need a story title to make it count. :)
Quote from user: Lars Jensen... but is Daisy part of the Duck family?
For the intents and purposes of this quiz, she is. And otherwise... Well, her last name is Duck and she's been included in several "official" Duck family trees, so I guess she's indeed family.

In that case Ludwig von Drake is one of the missing characters.
In http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=D+99285 , it was revealed that Flintheart Glomgold is related to Scrooge, so Glomgold would be another character mentioned by Barks but not shown in Rosa's Duck family tree.
A third character would be Glomgold's mother (mentioned by Barks on page 16 of "The Money Champ").
According to http://coa.inducks.org/character.php?c=Aunt+Eider , Aunt Eider is the aunt of both Scrooge and Rockerduck, so Rockerduck would be a fourth missing character.

The story doesn't have an original title, but it's http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=W+WDC+149-01 .

You may be right, but can you prove that he was used by Carl Barks?
Quote from user: Lars JensenFlintheart Glomgold is related to Scrooge [...] Aunt Eider is the aunt of both Scrooge and Rockerduck
But Carl Barks didn't conceive Flintheart and Rockerduck as related to Scrooge. I'm looking for characters that have been family members right from their first appearance, instead of retroactively. I will correct this in my original post.

Welp, there's the obvious answer that I'm surprised no one's hit on yet: MEHITABEL MUDHEN!
Also, if we're including characters who are mentioned but not by name, Donald refers to HDL's "grandma" in "Volcano Valley." This could just refer to plain ol' Grandma Duck, of course, but it's ambiguous, and I kinda doubt that Barks had her specifically in mind.
