There's one of the Donald & Gladstone golfing stories; the one where
Gladstone loses his luck for a moment whereas Donald keeps winning (WDC&S
131, Aug '51); at one point, Gladstone climbs on the club's chimney-- but
that's a golf ball, not a pellet.
There's also "Letter to Santa"-- but no pellet.

of just money. Money evaporates after a while, and recognition might

Yes, this is a long-standing, ongoing series. Its first story, "The I-Team"
(D 99094), first published September 1999, shows Huey, Dewey and Louie
trying to solve a prize contest online, where they can win a new computer.
The contest requires them to go looking for answers all over Duckburg, and
on their way they meet their friends, all trying to find the same answers.
They decide to help each other on their way, and together they win the
contest. They decide to make a club, and build their headquarters in the
tower of an old, shut down airport. Their second story shows them creating
CLINT (their artificial intelligence) and getting a special friendship with
Little Helper - both Little Helper and CLINT have been important members of
the I-Team since that.
As far as I know, these are all the (published) I-Team stories so far:

Well, Mats has gotten the recognition he deserves!!! I was in the comic
store today, flipping through the January edition of 'Uncle Scrooge' (which
is chock full of comicky goodness) and inside the back cover was an article
about him and his model! I thought it was wonderful!
I know this was because so many of the DCML people, especially those who
manage areas of the comic making, heard about his extraodinary model.
And Olaf-- I saw your name there too. Think of it, the first time your name
has been published in an American comic book! :o) I hope it's not the last,
either.
