I have been busy with other things, so thats why I haven't draw (and showed them) for a while, perhaps you on the forum could give me some ideas what I can draw, I think that could be fun. Unfortunate I have run out of ink, so it will only be in black lead pencils, but that would not be any problem I guess after that I have seen the other's drawings.
Thanks!

I never get tired of Scrooge or especially his ancestors and family, though I really enjoy your Glomgold art as well. But being a devout Ludwig von Drake fan, I always like to see various renditions of him.
And black lead pencil is fine. I enjoy black and white drawings as much as those in color. :)
Thanks!

Thank you, lady.
I know the thread is called Disney DUCK art, but I hope it is ok to show a mouse.

It's cool. ;) (I probably should change that title, anyway.)

Just remove the duck. And to all the duck fans, I just meant remove the word duck!!!!!

Can I make a suggestion? Mickey looks a little "un-cute"
http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/2193/voboxp7.jpg
Giving him a little more cheek and roundness, might make it more digestible??

No worries. I see the "mouse" option's been added to the title. ;)

I hope you'll take this critique in a positive way, VoBo, but it appears that you have drawn Mickey by starting to draw body pieces in one place and add segments to it. I suggest you construct the general body shapes and their relative positions by blocking in the main body segments as geometrical shapes (circles, rectangles cylindars, squares, triangles FIRST, and adjust them as needed until all the relative positions look correct. Only THEN, after everything appears to be located correctly, would I start drawing details. Mickey's mouth shoulders and neck seem to be slightly out of place.

I guess it's okay if I post some sketches here, too.
My very favorite duck-look is the one from roughly 1938-1944. Very round, very bouncy! I dislike the later models that were used for Donald, especially since the beak is too short- in my opinion.
My favorite comic book duck is anything Barks drew from his very first comic up until 1950 or so. I'm especially fond of the ones with ridiculous long necks! I love all ducks with long necks, long beaks and large pupils!!
Anyways, here are some drawings I did a few months back, trying to base them on the model of a specific period.
1938:

1939:

1943:

And here are some recent drawings:

(Did I mention long necks? ;))
And some wolfs.

Pretty good, Henrieke. Would you happen to have any Bucky Bug-related artwork lying around? (Even though Bucky & co. aren't ducks or mice.)
