Nee, ik weet het niet. Wat is het grapje?
(For this to make sense you need to know just a bit of French...)
A French asks a Belgian guy:
- do you know where is Bruxelles ?
- Bruxelles-xelles is over there.
- sorry - what did you say?
- Bruxelles-xelles is in that direction.
- why do you pronounce "Bruxelles-xelles" and not Bruxelles?
- because when I was in France and asked the road to Tarascon, everybody would tell me "c'est la route de Tarascon, con".

Do you know Volker Reiche? He drew his Donalds very similar to those on your model sheet (especially the long beaks).

My work partner,Jan Gulbransson is a good friend of Volker. I've met him once. I use Barks 1948-51 artwork as a model.

That is a nice picture of Donald Robb. Of Course I would thought it was Fethry if he had some hair.

Donald's headfeathers are standing up straight because of his extreme fear, knowing that he has skied off of the cliff, over nothing for hundreds of metres downward. Barks used that effect to help accentuate the fear.

Remarkable. I thought you were living in IXELLES, a part of Bruxelles (Dutch name Elsene).
Sometimes the name of Ixelles is abbreviated on maps as "XL", and that's because Ixelles is not Extra Large (XL)... :)
So even without joking, someone could say they live in Bruxelles-Ixelles, which sounds almost like what you originally wrote.
Robb: you know me. I took pictures of you in Haarlem. My real initials are HF.
(We went to Brussels a few years ago, to visit a Swede who lived in Ixelles at the time.)
BTW, is this on-topic enough? :)

Geachte Heer Vos: I knew who you are as soon as I saw the first part of your comment on Ixelles/Elsene. I was not surprised one bit, when I saw your giveaway clues ust below. I had already thought he was you, but wanted a confirmation. Will you also be in Aalborg on 25 July (as you attended last year)?

This is my best drawing, although, admittedly, it is based on a Gottfredson drawing:
