had never been published outside Italy.
Maybe Egmont will want to publish it too (it was in

Not everyone *should* be interested, but at least some of us *are*
interested.

Actually, that sort of trivia is much more on-topic than many other

Keep the questions coming (everyone)!
They may "only" be details sometimes, but the answers are often very interesting.
And we're quite lucky to have an author who's so nice and answers everything-- we just have to try

I have extras of the following Disney figures from the recent McDonald's
promotion:
Sebastian, Flounder, Hercules, Jasmine, Genie, Dumbo. Tramp, Tantor, Phil,
Bashful, Mickey 1928, Donald Duck 1934, and Daisy 1937.
These seemed to come in groups to the McDonalds, and these are what were
left. I am working on getting others, especially Scrooge.
I will ship these to you at my cost. (one each, per customer) while supplies
last.

Yes! Please ask ALL Disney Comics-related questions to any of us, - no material
how detailed. Enough of us will likely be interested in ANY situation. Even
in the few cases that NO ONE is interested, there will be a possibility for an
offshoot idea that can stimulate new discussion. We can afford to scroll
through a few extra lines. It is clear that there are many detail-oriented
members who are interested in the most minute bits of information (which would
seem esoteric to someone not interested in comics). Rob

Hello there!!!!
I lended to a friend a Disney comic with the story "Topolino e le vacanze in
immersione", I TP 1489-A...and she's so impressed with it!
She's a diver, and we've become with the impression that the writer, Carlo
Chendi, was a dive master, or at least, did a diver's course and was so
delighted by it that decided to write this very good story!
So, I wanna know something about this autor...! Is he doing Disney comics
yet? Is he really a Dive Master? ;)
I've never listen nothing about him on DCML before...

Born in Ostellato (Ferrara) on July 10, 1933, Carlo
Chendi is one of the best and first Disney writers of
the doppio-guerra. He signed some beautifully
illustrated Grandi Parodie such as "Il Dottor Paperus"
remake of the Dr Faust, and with Bottaro the
hillarious "Archimede e il signor Scherzo", or "Pippo
e la fattuchiera" where Witch Hazel desesperately
tries to make Goofy believes she exists.
Later, he did "Paperino missione Bob Fingher", and, in
the early 80s created (together with Cavazzano) OK
Quack, a duck-looking space inhabitant whose space
shuttle, reduced to the size of a money coin, looks
exactly like a coin. So OK Quack is looking for it all
along the stories (he ultimately finds it, but by an
incredible series of events, will lost it again)... a
really original idea which gave numerous memorable
plots!
Carlo Chendi is also a "fan" of Disney comics in
general (I think he is the one who had contacts with
Carl Barks through mails, in the 60s or 70s).

situation up... but why Donald has not seen his mother... or perhaps he
