Hi everybody!

Remenber when I ask about creators on DCML? I have now this list of Disney
creators:

I tale a look at the published Disney brazilian stories last years, and I
get some numbers, about the drawers. It's a shame that I'm not able to do
the same about the writters and inkers, 'cause I didn't know everyone. You
know...no credits...!

There are 12 different drawers.
It was published 122 new brazilian Disney stories during 2000
816 new pages during the year

92 histories on Z? Carioca Universe
569 pages

14 histories on Duck Universe
97 pages

14 histories on Mouse Universe
84 pages

Yes, it is very much probably that some numbers are wrong...but not so much!

There is nothing "good" in that itself, well, perhaps in this case
because Laura did it in such a very convincing way. The interesting
thing is the style development. Unfortunately it seems that Laura
stopped her activities a few years ago, so we'll never know what her
style would have looked like today.

However, let's take another (female) Carpi "clone": Anna Marabelli.
Take a look at her latest story "Paperino e la telefonino-mania" (I PM
243-2) -- certainly very interesting art, coming from a person who made
rather boring "Carpish" art in the beginning. My point is, that
sometimes copying other people's art in the beginning of the career not
always is such a bad idea; Scarpa->Cavazzano, Gatto->Held, Massimo de
Vita->Valussi and my favourite: Cavazzano->Mastantuono(!) :-)

Of course we also have less succesful examples, e.g. Bottaro->Scala.

At the beginning, no doubt! But, for example, nor Held neither Valussi
ever reached a high level.

I have a few questions that I was hoping someone is able to answer about
Scrooge Mcduck. I am aware of many adventures he went on with HD&L and
Donald but I was never sure what adventures he went on before he met them. I
heard somethings about how he traded things in different places, sold things
in different places, and was a prospector in different places. If anyone can
add to that list or say what he prospected, sold, or traded, or anything
else, I would like it very much. If you don't mind making a small list of
things he did then I would love it very much. Also, if someone knows where
to find back issues to Scrooge comics or the book, "The Life and Times of
Scrooge Mcduck" anywhere on the internet or any book store or places to call,
I would like that a lot. Thank you very much to anyone who can answer these
questions.

Make that "writer". 8-)

I don't think they are a member of DCML. They do have e-mail, though. And if
you include Janet Gilbert, you also may include her husband, Michael T.
Gilbert.

Dani?l van Eijmeren co-wrote a story (not published yet).

Kari Korhonen may be lurking here (I don't know). Same with Jos Beekman.

Byron Erickson once was on DCML, but I think he left.
