That's true... Marvel got those early Gladstone II books out there. I saw them at supermarkets, drugstores, bookstores, etc.

Darkwing Duck #15 is solicited in the June 2011 issue of Diamond's Previews.
Darkwing Duck #16 should be in the July 2011 issue of Previews (this is the last issue available by subscription).
Darkwing Duck #17 (if published) will be in the August 2011 issue of Previews (data available mid-July 2011).
So we'll know soon if Darkwing Duck will survive beyond #16.

As inclined as we all are to blame Disney, the fact that Boom continues to publish Darkwing and Ducktales, as well as classic Scrooge reprints, would seem to indicate they CAN still publish these characters, but in the case of the regular Uncle Scrooge, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck titles, have simply chosen NOT to.

Yeah, I haven't seen any Disney Comics to rent at the Library either, and the only Comics that I get from The Archie Comics are Sonic the Hedgehog.

Is there still news that Marvel will republish some Disney titles?

I am extremely close to Ohio (the library I visit is in downtown Cincinnati) and our libraries are chockful of Disney comics and I have seen the Boom books at local bookstores.

It seems that there's a good chance Marvel will be in charge of continuing with the licenses lost by BOOM!, if Gary Groth's assumptions have any basis on reality...

On their forum, Boom confirms that Darkwing Duck will continue, and DuckTales seems to be continuing beyond the four-issue initial story arc as well. This leads credence to the theory that, despite what most of us initially believed, the dropping of the classic titles from Boom's schedule (as well as CDRR) was their decision, rather than Disney/Marvel pulling their license.
It looks like Darkwing and DuckTales will be the entirety of Boom's output. This is actually more disappointing than learning that Marvel would take over ... it effectively means that Boom still owns the classic license but will not be putting out the books. If that's the case, can Disney award the license to another publisher (say, Fantagraphics?) if they will continue the classic line?
No wonder the much anticipated Marvel declaration of takeover of the classics hasn't happened yet. As others have pointed out, a Darkwing/DuckTales line with no classics holds little interest for me.
