But except that one there was any stories wich includes HDL forced to undress or being emberrassed about that?Because Scrooge and Donald have plenty of them.

Quote from user: MrClevelandQuote from user: Robb_KVery strange to see a realistic human talk to a duck. I suppose that happened on "Quack Pack" (was THAT the title?), I think I only saw one episode. I don't like that. I didn't like it in the Warner Brothers', Walter Lantz and MGM comics and cartoons, and I DEFINITELY don't like it in Disney stories.
It was...however, I do like it when humans talk to anatomically correct cartoons though...
I don't have a problem with that either way. of course I had to remind myself of the Chilean comic strip character Condorito and how he seems to be the only talking condor in a human society (whether he's anatomically correct or not, who cares, he's got a girlfriend anyway).

I want to see him dressed up like Peter Potamus now!
Quote from user: MrClevelandMaybe because of the Hays Code. (That's what tarnished Betty Boop's Career)....
Let alone forcing cows to cover up their udders or have none at all!
Quote from user: Robb_KQuote from user: MrClevelandYep...except, it seems the U.S. now won't have the nephews get spanked, but Donald Duck can flash EVERY feather on his body, but hey...that's a running gag for him!
Here's a comic cover where Donald and his nephews share a shower....
http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=XSC+KA1980-46
To me, it's an odd cover...but then again...I am one who tries to find out when Donald wears nothing!
Why is it "an odd cover"? Would it be very unusual in USA for a father to take a shower with his very young son or sons? That wouldn't be unusual in Europe.
I hate to say I saw that in my family and we're Americans (of course I was 4 years old when it happened). The Studio Ghibli movie "My Neighbor Totoro" has a father who bathes with his two daughters for instance.
Quote from user: MrClevelandI think we mentioned this before...maybe because there's some modesty here in the states.
We're just prudes! That's why animals end up being as 'clean' as they never are, and I'm sure it confused plenty of kids because of our conservative atmosphere.
Quote from user: MrClevelandDonald Duck also went nude on the show "Disneyland", this is from "How a Story is Made" where he switches from his sailor shirt to a Victorian-style dress...but his own shirt gets erased!...
I see they used the trusty Blackwing 602 pencil for that! You can get those again!

^You made MANY good points there...but the ones encountering anatomically correct animals and humans is a good argument. I watch many cartoons where anatomically correct animals talk to humans. Even in "The Three Caballeros", Donald, Jose, and Panchito talk to REAL humans! Maybe that's why I like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

I love the moment in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" when we see Jessica Rabbit for the first time and Betty Boop comments that's she is the lucky one having Roger as a husband... I like to think that acording to the "toon standards" Roger is the more atractive one ;)

Agree...and when laserdisc came out...some controversy came with that film...some people thought Jessica Rabbit wasn't wearing underwear. True Story!

I don't think he was saying that it was true, just that there were rumors to that effect.

It's hard to see it unless you pause at the exact right moment.

Quote from user: Mr. MWOW! This is the first time I see this treat and I'm so in love with it... The whole idea is just beatyfull :)
I recall one brasilian story where Jose looses his pants on the beach and the entire story is about him trying to get back home naked... as soon I find the story I will sent you scans...
Does anyone recall what comic issue (name and date) this story is in? I could look it up and see if there is a copy to download.

I found the issue where this story is...its in either Ze Carioca #2058 or #2286 (story code B 960022), but I'm unable to locate where I can download either issue or the story itself. Would anyone know where I could find this?

I'm now reminded of "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" featuring Angela Lansbury and it had a secretary bird who was the king's associate. Once the king lost the soccer game the secretary bird's clothes get blown-off by the king.
And like Donald Duck, the secretary bird didn't wear pants...but covered the area where he didn't wear pants when naked.
