There are MANY, MANY panels in comics books and comic strips in which Donald wears nothing, I know of several just in stories I've worked on.

Remember the history "A Stitch in Time" on page 14 of this website? Are there other nude images that we have not seen?

Heres one scene from a Romano Scarpa Mickey Mouse story where Mickey and Black Pete are swashbuckling and end up ripping up and ripping off each others clothes. Interesting to note that while their fur hides the things they'd want hidden, both Mickey and Pete still have the need to continue their fight wearing barrels. Also, their clothes get ripped off, but not one scratch on either of them :P.

Also interesting to note how which leg Pete has his Peg-Leg on changes from the 2nd to 4th panel.
Not sure if this has been posted here before, but this is an illustration Don Rosa did for a Finnish fanzine back in 2000. Why Donald Duck is sweating like a pig is beyond me though. Considering how many times Donald has been naked before, and that he still has his feathers on him, why is he holding that celery in that way? Why even celery in the first place I wonder?

To answer your questions...Donald is in a sauna, he has his feathers still on him, and that isn't celery...that's a group of twigs...which would be in a bucket of water to splash on the sauna stones to make the place even more sweaty. Here's a colorized version....



It reminds me of the time I went to Deer Creek Resort in the Columbus, Ohio, USA District. I went to a Youth Gathering from my church almost 20 years ago and there was a sauna...I went in there and it was unbearable...I may try a sauna again one day!
Thanks for the context. Considering it was a Finnish fanzine, it all makes perfect sense :P. The only time I've ever been in a sauna was when I was eight years old and I went to Disney World. I stepped in there (it was empty) for one second and left immediately after as the heat was just to much for my eight your old self to bear.

Anyways, back on topic.

Heres the cover of a German fanzine where Uncle Scrooge is taking a shower in coins. Reminiscent of a comic scene already posted in this thread.

Heres an issue of The Comics Journal from January 1996, illustrated by Don Rosa, showing Scrooge and the nephews as actual ducks. Scrooge and Donald still have their shirts, while Huey, Dewey and Louie do not, probably because their ducklings and their too small in size.
