- les bestioles & personnages exotiques
- des sources-- ex: sur le Canal du Panama; j'ai trouv? des choses int?ressantes
Tout ?a demande *?norm?ment* de travail.
Je te joins des images d?s que possible. Les dessins sur HP sont sur un CD; certains ducks que j'ai faits
sont sur un autre; et les reproductions sont encore sur papier, donc ? scanner. Je vais faire un effort; ce serait
aussi un bon moyen de les conserver ? l'abri.

I have also in B810094 a Ludwig's cousin... (PM 170)
He is called Donaldou Dinge in french (and Ludwig is called Donald Dingue),
and in the original version, I think I've seen something like Frederico...,
so although he never appeared in US, his name would probably be Friedrich
VonDrake...

Hi!
Thanks to Rich! I was just searching a scan of Gertie, now I've found it!
I'm going to say what I know about those characters...
Rumpus is first said to be Scrooge's cousin, but in a recent story from
Vanhorn, it is said that he is in fact Fergus' first son, but his mother
have divorced and ran out, not for him to discover that he is an horrible
McDuck... in this story, D99053, we also learn about an aunt from both
Scrooge and Rumpus: Aunt Vera (in my personnal family tree, I've Vera, Downy
and Rumpus' mother three sisters).
Princess Oona have been brought to Duckburg because of a time travel
experience of Gyro... In my view, Bubba from Ducktales would be a tribute to
her (if you don't understand, check my history of the Ducks, last month,
sent by DonRosa...) She has been seen at least in two stories: D93505 and
D93506.
Aunt Eider is both Scrooge and ...Rockerduck's aunt!!! (I've her fullname
Eider Mallard in my new version of the Tree Molly Mallard's Brother's
Daughter and Rockerduck's mother's sister...)
Shamrock Gander is Gladstone's nephew (To me, Egmont Gander's son , a
character I have created...)
Dickie/Paperetta is Goldie's Granddaughter, or maybe an orphan from Gold
Rush she has adopted?
I don't think Moby and Dimwitty are related to Donald...
I've Aunt Gertie, from "Stuck on Christmas", Sister of Luke Goose (I've put
her on my Drawing: Quackmore's mariage-1918... Somebody want to see it?),
she could also be Scrooge's Girlfriend?...
Gloria is Fethry's girlfriend and Dugan/Biquinho his nephew.

Mickey Mouse Secret Super Agent -comics (Spiegle/Murry)? Or maybe even a
whole episode? I guess they aren´t published nowhere else except US an
Italy? But I have heard about them. Their are said to be utterly boring, or
at least stupid, because of the incompatible styles of Murry and Spiegle.

While we are on the subject for Donald's relatives, I never have seen at
least 2 mentioned on any of these lists:
(1) Dick Duck (Private Eye) (Detective) - a cousin of Donald's. He was
used in an early 1960s story drawn by Tony Strobl. it was printed in
"Donald Duck" comics - an issue in the # 90s.
(2) Shamrock Gander - Gladston'es lucky nephew - used in a 1952 or 1953
story in "Donald Duck" drawn by Dick Moores (or Paul Murray?).
I also remember a Jack Bradbury - drawn story from 1953 or 1954 from a
"Duck Album" - in which Donald and Nephews go out West to visit Donald's
cousin who was an oldtime Western (cowboy) hero. he was a small town
Sheriff (I believe).
Can someone provide exact information on these?
Gladstone's lucky nephew has Gander as family name. That means he must be
the son of Gladstone's brother, or Gladstone's uncle. Is Gladstone's
Brother named on anyone's tree or list? Shamrock is lucky. His father
must be lucky too. I have seen stories telling that EVERY member of the
"Gander"
family.
I seem to remember many more single stories drawn between 1959 - 1964 in
the Dell/Gold Key series which used relatives of Donald on a one-time story
need basis. Shouldn't they all be added to the family tree. If the
"Gospel" is not Barks alone, but we add Rosa and the Italian added
characters, should we not add all the older US added characters?

I seem to remember many more single stories drawn between 1959 - 1964 in
the Dell/Gold Key series which used relatives of Donald on a one-time story
need basis. Shouldn't they all be added to the family tree. If the
"Gospel" is not Barks alone, but we add Rosa and the Italian added
characters, should we not add all the older US added characters?

Titus has been discussed here in the past, probably more
than a couple years ago however. He is/was an all-purpose
employee of $crooge's handling everything from accounting
to butlering! He was created back in the 60s or 70s and
was reused several times. In recent times he has disappeared
and his many jobs have been taken over by various employees
of $crooge's.
Yes, oddly he did resemble Rockerduck to some extent, and
perhaps that was part of his downfall? As far as I could
tell, from the stories in which he appeared, he bore no
relationship to Rockerduck. He has, however, been compared
to a non-duck (dogface) employee of $crooge's named Clerkly
though. Rockerduck, on the otherhand, is said to be related
to $crooge in some way that involves Aunt Eider (meaining,
of course, that Rockerduck's triplet nephews must therefore
also be related, if somewhat distantly, to HDL!).

It is Dorothy. As far as I know she has only appeared in

Stupid? Boring? they are great!
Nicely done spy stories by Don Christensen and Dan Spiegle.
The two lead characthers just happened to be the Mouse and the Goof (drawn
by Paul Murry), which changes the whole thing to bizarre dada!
