Lately Don Rosa's mailprogram went "berserk" and
sendt the same message 4 or 5 times. Things like
this happends, we all know that - don't we? So
this incident didn't cause any problems for Don
afterwards.
Anyway, when the exact same thing happened to me
last december, people like Rune Kristian Viken,
Georges Helm, Steven Rowe and Stefan Persson
accused me for doing it by purpose. Some of them
even called me a spem-terrorist and Steven Rowe
was talking about kill-filters.
I hope the last incident has proved beyond
reasonable doubt that I was *innocent* in
posting the same mail 4 times by purpose, and
that the "DCML-anti-spam-guerilla" was wrong
in their to-quick conclusions after that
incident.
So now we can all put that incident behind us
and look forward.

Are you guys sure you were on the same trip together? I have to say, Sigvald, I think you're
being a little obsessive about meaningless details. For one thing, the word "marine" can be used
in English and The Marines and The Navy are two different entities (at least in the US, an
English-speaking country. I know, I know, countries don't speak). Perhaps the Norwegian word
for navy is Marine and that is what Anders was trying to convey. But again, a minor detail, which
really does nothing to derail from Anders' original account of his trip.
Furthermore, the words "slicer" and "cutter" are virtually interchangeable when preceded by the
word "cheese." A cheese-cutter and a cheese-slicer serve the exact same purpose: the slow,
deliberate destruction of delicious cheese for consumption. -D.

Although Barks didn't write any stories with both Donald and Mickey, he did
write a 4-page Gyro story which included Morte and Ferdie. Normally he
would have used HDL, but for a while the postal rules required at least 2
stories in each comic magazine, with separate characters in each story.
At this time Barks usually met the requirement in the US comics with a
24-page
Scrooge story (with Donald and HDL), and a 4-page Gyro story. Many of
these Gyro stories have no other recurring characters except Helper. The
story with Morte and Ferdie I think was about trapping lightning.

was stated and how long it lasted? And WHY postal officers dictated the
insides of comic magazines (any requirements for other types of mags?)?? And
how they were able even to do it?
How this effected to other comic books? I know Barks had to made changes to
some of his stories.
