As for your question, I'm the guy who owns multiple copies (sometimes 5 or more) of books by my favorite author (Stephen King) and I guess it's something I can't explain to anyone - not even to myself.
But, now I know there will be HCs down the road, I just might cancel the TP orders.

Ooh! I like that cover with the JWs. And is that the statue of Cornelius Coot I see out the window? Nice touch! I'll have to ask for the sub cover for that issue (for the first two, I preferred Cover A--love that pirate ship cover by Jonathan Gray on #2!).

I'm really enjoying the work they're doing with the covers and alts for these. It's providing a nice variety and actually getting me excited about which cover I want to try to pick up.

I've been having quite some trouble finding issues of the IDW Uncle Scrooge/Donald Duck comic books that have been relased by now. As I already expressed earlier in this topic, finding new issues that aren't ridiculously expensive is not easy living in the Netherlands, and I would really like to read them (having waited for so long for the series to start again!). Does anybody on the forum happen to know a reliable and qualitative (web)shop that has the issues in stock? Many thanks in advance! :)

Baar Baar and Matilda---which sounds like it could be the title of a cartoon series---I posted this elsewhere but I don't remember where, so I'll post it again. Issue #102 of the Simpsons comic book (2009) was "inspired by works of Carl Barks and Don Rosa." The cover showed Homer wearing a familiar-looking sailor blouse, sailor cap and red bow tie and Mr. Burns wearing a familiar-looking top hat and waistcoat and carrying a cane. The story is "Battle For The Barks Billions."
My budget will not allow me to purchase every cover variant of the Disney titles, although I bought two different versions of Uncle Scrooge #1 (or #405). Today I bought the second issue (or four hundred sixth) with the pirate-ship cover. What does everyone think about the computer-printed lettering? Yes, it's faster and more professional-looking but now every story has the same lettering and there is no individuality. Carl Barks had a unique lettering style, as did Paul Murry and William Van Horn and many others. Of course I'm looking at the United States printings. Are the Disney stories in other countries hand-lettered?

So do I, but TFAW works fine for me. Especially when the Euro was a lot stronger it was a pleasure to do business there. :)
I usually receive three issues per shipment and that's what I pay for. Shipping/handling comes to just a few cents over $8.00.
But, if you just order one issue, shipping/handling is the same. So, it definitely pays to order more than one magazine.
It takes from 7-10 days for a shipment to reach my mailbox.

Your credit card will not be charged for your pre-orders until we ship them.
Shipping and handling will be charged at that time; the fee is dependent on the selected method and the number of pre-order items shipped at one time.
