You don't like Ren and Stimpy? You eeediot! We're getting way off topic here...but, yes, Alan Young voiced a Scottish-born tv star named Haggis McHaggis on four episodes.

Quote from user: MatildaI believe it's been explained somewhere on this forum: there are no mail subscriptions. The "sub cover" is in theory supposed to be the one that is sold (by your friendly Local Comic Store) to those persons who have put the comic on their pull list (hence, "in-store" subscribers, so to speak). In the experience of those who have reported on this issue, though, the LCS will in actual fact give the person with the Disney pull list whichever cover s/he prefers. The clerk at my LCS said that the regular and sub covers are effectually "Cover A" and "Cover B," from his POV. So far, mostly I have preferred the regular cover.
It does seem to be a Cover A and Cover B kind of thing. When I dropped by to pick up US 2 the shop had equal amounts of both covers in stock.

I prefer the regular cover as well - so far.

I don't believe I've brought this up before: I really liked Joe's tweaking of the original joke in that back-up story. Scrooge spends a bit of the story in drag in a dress that looks Minnie Mouse-esque, so Joe makes the similarity in the original story part of the plot in the Americanization. That's important, because in this era (hopefully) of trans and otherwise LGBTQ acceptance the idea of "guy in a dress = funny" kind of rubs me the wrong way, and making the joke that Scrooge is dressed as a particular individual made it go down much better.

I have a review of the first issue posted on my blog (from Fluffy and Mervin's page) here: http://debbie.fluffyandmervin.com/68/
