Good to see Fantagraphics have made half of their funding requirements in just over half a day. 29 to go.
I first was aware of it while there was only 17/100 for Don's book. Sadly I am from Australia, but would of pounced on it immediately if there was international shipping. :(

I didn't know if this should be a topic in and of itself, but I suspect the finished product will be published in this Library collection so I'm putting it here. From the his facebook page, a quote from Mr. Rosa:

Fantastic news. Excellent choices of stories as well. "Gravity" is easily one of Don's top 5, and "Distelfink"* is probably the hardest to get in print.

Oh my goodness! This is amazing news. My first Uncle Scrooge comic happened to be #219. I was 12 years old and knew immediately it was a very special story. There are plenty of things I no longer have from my childhood, but I have always kept that #219 close by. It has been read many times by myself, my kids, and even my wife. I am thrilled about the Barks library, but this Rosa library will be really special to me.
I luckily just checked out that kickstarter page and was able to sign up for one of the signed copies of volume 1! To me, "Son of the Sun" is right up there with "The Seven Cities of Cibola"...just magnificent adventure stories! Thanks Don for all your care in crafting your stories.
